I am a painter currently based in Lagos who is exploring Neo hyperrealism, a fusion of hyperrealism and abstract expressionism.
My work centers on profound themes such as the unknown, consciousness, self and the mind. As a child I had no sense of the world and my place in it but art taught me that with focus and intention you can achieve anything in this life, as long as you don’t let anything stop you. For me, painting is a metaphor for control, a way to come to know more about myself as a human being.
My process begin with a need to breath, a deep urge to express myself. This expression often emerge from a place of heightened consciousness, lived reality, or something profoundly personal.
Then I map out the core message and visual symbols that will carry it - often human faces or eyes. This element form the hyperrealistic layer.
I then create an abstract expressionist base, allowing emotions and intuition to dictate form. This stage is loose and unrestrained, built with bold colors.
Ultimately, I am interested in how art can serve as a medicine to the mind. I believe the real danger in society is people who are going through life not being connected to the God in them. I believe man is spirit. And the most important thing in a man’s life is to know himself. I hope my work can sow this seeds in the mind of my viewers. I hope they see my work and feel the need to question, feel or perhaps transcend this matrix we all live in.

Collateral Damage is about the hidden consequences of systemic structures that govern society—the “matrix”
These systems create mental slavery, inequality, and a false sense of freedom, especially for Black people across the world. The work explores what happens to individuals who awaken to these truths—they often experience alienation, resistance, and internal conflict as they struggle to detach from the programmed norms.
