ZOE - God's Quality of LIFE Is In YOU!!!

He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

Jesus said “I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly” in John 10:10.

This has two meanings. One has to do with zao, and the other with zoe. Zao is a verb that means “to live.” Jesus brought us from death to life, we were dead in our sins, but now we are alive in Christ. But zoe is a noun and refers to the kind or quality of life that God gives. So you could say he made us zao so we could enjoy zoe.

He doesn’t just make us alive, he actually gives us the quality of life he possesses. So from then on, it’s something we possess in our spirits.

1 John 5:12 He who has the Son has life (zoe); he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

Zoe - life (noun)

the state of one who is possessed of vitality or is animate

of the absolute fullness of life, both essential and ethical, which belongs to God, and through him both to the hypostatic

It’s a state of existence, not just the fact of existence. It’s a quality of life he gives us, not just life itself. Notice also that it says “which belongs to God.” It’s the kind of life God has.

This idea reminds me of several new creation facts; we are joint heirs with Jesus, he shares his authority with us, we’re seated with him on his throne of authority in heavenly places, we are partakers of his divine nature, we’ve been given the right to be the children of God, we’re no longer servants but sons…

When you think all hope is lost
Don't you worry, God will come through for you.
When you cannot get up from your bed, don't you worry, God is coming.
When you've searched for help, and there's no help to come, don't you worry, God is coming to help you.

How often do you thank God before asking Him for something?

Most of us know that giving thanks is a good practice. Since we could talk we’ve been taught to say it to be polite, but “thank you” are some of the most powerful words we have at our disposal. Expressed with sincerity and true gratitude, this phrase can change one’s outlook, bring joy, and serve as a testimony of God’s love. And God values thankfulness. Being thankful or giving thanks is mentioned over 200 times in the Bible. Cultivating more thankfulness provides many benefits in our relationship with God and others.
Gratitude helps us see God. It opens our spiritual eyes and helps us to sense His presence. The more we thank Him, the more we are able to see Him moving on our behalf and working things together for our good. Thankfulness puts us in God’s will. He wants us to give thanks in every situation (1 Thess. 5:18). This act of obedience in the good times and the hard times keeps us in alignment with His perfect plan for our lives.
Gratitude draws us closer to God and deepens our confidence in Him. Thankfulness reminds us of God’s faithfulness and His amazing track record. His reputation and 100% success rate is too good to fail any one of His children. Thankfulness also leads to joy. Pausing to realize the abundance of God’s goodness toward us, especially when we are most undeserving, is the gateway to joy. Finally, gratitude builds our testimony.

We look past our own mistakes and look down on others
But in God's eyes we're no different than our sisters and our brothers
A bad choice and a bad person are two different things
What if I was to ask for a show of hands?
How many people have done something they wish they could take back?
I bet we all would have our hands up, so doesn't that make us all bad?
But their mistake was bigger, what they did was worse
Maybe instead of pointing fingers at their sin, we should look at ours first
Why can't we just love our neighbors and learn how to forgive?
Jesus did
And I don't know about you but I'm tryna be more like Him
So don't ask me why I'm hanging out with or talking to so-and-so saying You remember what they did?
Of course I remember, but I also remember the things I've done
As Christians we should never look down on other people
Or even have an ounce of hate in our hearts so I will always choose love
So if you really wanna know why I would show love towards someone after the terrible things they did
My answer is short and simple
Jesus did.
