From Waste to Worth: Cleaning Solutions Made by Our Students!
At EduCycle, we believe that learning becomes more meaningful when students use knowledge to solve real-life problems. Our students have transformed locally available waste materials into effective, affordable, and eco-friendly cleaning abrasives.
Introducing our student-made cleaning products:
🔹 EcoScrub: produced from eggshells
🔹 AshClean: produced from ash
🔹 CeramClean: produced from broken ceramic plates, cups, and tiles
With just a small amount, these abrasives help remove stubborn stains and grease from kitchen utensils, sinks, tiles, and other surfaces, leaving them sparkling clean without the need to spend much on expensive commercial alternatives.✨
This initiative is more than product development; it is a lesson in:
🔹Environmental stewardship
🔹Resourcefulness and innovation
🔹Waste-to-wealth practices
🔹Sustainable living
By rethinking what we throw away, our students are discovering that waste can become a valuable resource and that young minds can create practical solutions for everyday challenges.
At EduCycle, we are empowering young minds through literacy, innovation, and sustainability. 💯

Our Green Ambassadors were privileged to participate in the SDSN Youth Nigeria SDG 12 Training on Responsible Consumption and Production. ♻️
The session showcased practical upcycling techniques, demonstrating how discarded materials such as old clothes can be transformed into reusable bags, hair scrunchies, jewellery pouches, and other useful items.
It was an inspiring reminder that sustainability begins with rethinking waste and embracing innovative ways to extend the life of materials.
Together, we can promote a circular economy and build a more sustainable future. 🌎

Today, we are celebrating World Environment Day! 🌎
Many people throw away things like plastic bottles, old clothes, cartons, and cans without knowing that they can be used again. Instead of becoming wastes that pollute our environment, they can be turned into useful items.
The things you see here were crafted by our Green Ambassadors from materials that would have been thrown away. This shows that waste can become something valuable when we use our creativity.
By recycling and reusing materials, we can help keep our school and community clean. We can also protect our environment for ourselves and future generations.
Let us all work together to keep our environment clean and green.
Happy World Environment Day from all of us at EduCycle! 🎉

Behold this stunning masterpiece created by one of our Green Ambassadors! ✨
Can you believe that this accessory was made from the ring on a Pepsi plastic cap?
What many people overlook or discard became the foundation for something creative, bold, and expressive. With just a simple idea and skilled hands, waste was transformed into a unique fashion statement.
This is what EduCycle stands for. Seeing value where others see none. Turning everyday materials into symbols of creativity and environmental responsibility. 🌎
Our Green Ambassadors are not just learning. They are creating. They are leading. They are redefining what sustainability looks like in their own way. 💯

What if you were told that these stunning table mats were knitted on old sacks?
Yes, what many people would throw away, our Green Ambassadors turned into something beautiful, useful, and meaningful. ♻️
This is what EduCycle is about: Not just upcycling, but reimagining. Not just creativity, but conscious living. Not just learning, but leading.
We are raising young people who don’t just adapt to the world, they reshape it. 🌎💯

Another wonder from our Green Ambassadors, and this one speaks volumes! 💯 ✨
What do you see when you look at an Eko (Lagos) Rice sack and a Golden Penny Semovita sack?
For most people, it is waste.
For our Green Ambassadors, it is raw material for innovation.
With creativity and intention, these everyday items were transformed into something useful and beautiful.
This is what happens when young people are exposed to the right mindset. They begin to see beyond disposal. They begin to see value.
We are not just teaching sustainability, we are raising problem solvers who can turn waste into opportunity. ♻️
Every project like this is a reminder that the future of our environment is in capable hands. 🌍

This is not just a school bag.
It is creativity.
It is environmental awareness.
It is leadership in action.
One of our Green Ambassadors at EduCycle looked at a used Viva Plus detergent nylon and saw possibility. She transformed it into a beautiful school bag. ♻️
This is what happens when young people are not just taught but empowered to think differently.
We are raising students who do not wait for change. They create it.
To Viva Plus, your product did more than wash clothes; it inspired innovation, reduced waste, and became a tool for learning and real impact. 💯 ✨
This is bigger than a bag.
This is the future we are building. 🌎
