I walked over to my desk, I heard someone whispering

"One can get what he wants if he has money"

"Yes she came late but was not punished"

"I hate people like that" it was Janet and her brown nosers

"Yep am rich so what?" I smirked

"You you--" Janet was too angry to complete a word

"I don't talk to a stammer and don't forget we are in the class remember am rich and I might not be punished"

I left to her annoyance, I don't really like using my identity to bully people but she asked for it

Robert POV
I saw what happen between Rose and Janet. Serve her right, Janet of course. I have to pass her desk to get to my desk

"Good morning handsome" Janet called

"Me?"

"Yes you Robert,meet me during lunch" Janet asked boldly

"Am sorry but I don't deal with artificial people like you" the class burst out laughing and the teacher had to control the class I walked over to my desk

"Dude that was harsh" David told me

"She deserved it"

Rose POV
I thought Janet said she hate people using their influence to get what they want but she talked to Robert....shameless

"That serve her right" Becca said after Janet barged out of class with her brown noser.

Janet POV
"How dare him insult me!" I screamed frustrated

"Calm down Janet" Jessica and Jane tried to calmed me down

"I will make Rose pay for what she did to me today"

"Yes let make a plan" Jessica suggested

"I have the right plan" Jane said. The electric bell rings for lunch.

Rose POV
The electric bell rings for lunch, Becca went to the restroom so I waited for her in the class. Robert came, I thought he was going to say something stupid

"You are looking beautiful"

"Ohh thank you" he went outside. Becca came in and we left for the cafeteria

Rose POV
After dinner I went to my room to practice my powers. I have two powers,having the ability to control wind and water but I run faster and see things clearer than an average human.

I want to turn the water in front of me to ice but it is only getting cold. I can only move water but can't transform it. I shut the window using my wind power,I think am getting hang of it.

I stopped practicing getting a call from Becca

"Anything wrong?"I asked

"Nothing I heard we might be making a trip somewhere I guess....... although the school haven't notified us"

"Ok thank for the info"

"Anything for my bestie" bestie...I felt an emotion in me because of the word.

"Hello anything wrong Rose?"

"Nothing just thinking about something"

"Ok no prob"

"Gud nite"

"Nighty" the phone was disconnected

I woke up late. This has never happened to me before. School start 8:00 and this is 9:10. Mom and dad slept overnight in the organization and Anita our maid went to her hometown. I took my bath and wore my shirt and trouser,I tied my hair in princess bun. It was around 10 when I left home.

Robert POV
Waking up late probably because I was thinking yesterday night. I wash up and hurriedly wore my clothes. Damn David he left me at home. I took my car and speed up to school.

Although the teachers will not talk since my dad made some donation to school, I will feel uncomfortable. Reaching school I met Rose entering the school building, she is late too. I tried to catch up with her but she is fast.

Rose POV
I entered my classroom and saw the teacher teaching already

"Something came up" I explained before the teacher ask me

"No problem register your name in the class attendance" the teacher told me. I register my name and the time I came when Robert entered the class

Robert POV
"You shouldn't have talk to your him like that. He is your father" My aunt said concerned.

"Aunt pls....am not a kid again"

"I need some time alone"I added as I left the dinning room. Alone in my room I remember my childhood. I never had happy childhood memories or a proper meal with my parents sometimes I only see them once in a month then to once to twice in a year.

My dad is an workaholic man a business man. He travels almost all the time leaving me in the care of my irresponsible mom who goes shopping,gambling in the bars and traveling with her friends.

I was a thin and scrawny boy in the past. Looking at a 10years old looks like a 6year old child. I was bullied by my mates then, David always stand up for me. It got worse to the extent I was beaten to death by a bunch of boys trying to show off their might, David and aunt found me and rescue me to the hospital.

My dad came from his business trip to deal with the boys who had hit me. I could remember the shock expression on my dad and aunt when the doctor read my medical information, malnourish, weak, both external and internal injuries. I was to be hospitalize for at least 3 months.

The boys were sent to correction center. My parents fought on the issue which led them to divorce. My mom remarry but could not have children again. My dad went back to continue the trip after he solved all issues on ground.

After getting discharge my aunt took me in with her family. David and I have been like brother since then. I started eating healthy foods, going out to gym, learning how to fight and speaking for myself.
Although am no longer that scrawny boy in the past I had an emotional trauma deep within me. Remembering these bad memories I was suddenly overwhelmed by the urge to cry but didn't.

Robert POV
After school,I and Dave went to the school park to take our ride home. I live with my Aunt and Dave because I can't bear the cold atmosphere of my house.
Although I live with my Aunt,dad still send me money for my day to day needs. We soon arrive. I heard the voices of people chatting,my aunt and Bella our house help. She has been with us for a while now.

"Mom we are back" David yelled from the door.

"Awwn my sweet boys are home" Aunt replied opening the door. Bella help with our backpack.

"We just finish preparing dinner, so go freshen up and come downstairs to eat" Aunt added after we entered.

During dinner,my aunt received a call. It was my dad whom I haven't heard from for ages now.

"Is Robert there??" I heard him say.

"Yes" My aunt replied. My aunt gave me the phone to talk to him. Looking at the unfamiliar but familiar face before me I felt a surge of emotions within me.

"I have sent you your allowance,did you see it?" He asked

"Yes I did" I replied coldly.

"Ok" There was nothing else to say as the atmosphere grew tensed. Just as I was about to hang up I heard him say

"Rob am sorry there is a business project I am attending here. I promise to make it up to you" I suddenly laugh after hearing the sentence that have been said probably more than hundred times now.

"Really how many times have I heard this same sentence? You says the same thing over and over again. If you know you were not ready for kids you shouldn't have married or give birth to me. Everything is not about money. I don't need your money all I ever asked for was a parent love, was it too much to ask for?
Am sick and tired of all this with you making false promises all the time" I said angrily. It was like all of the emotions hidden in me suddenly bolted out. I hang the phone in his shock expression.

Rose POV
Actually I won't deny the fact he is handsome,he has blonde hair,brown eye,fit...geez what am I thinking?

Robert POV
Gosh she caught me staring at her and maybe thinks am a pervert.
"Why are you always thinking lately" David asked me playfully

"Nothing nothing I promise"

"Well I never told you to promise"
We went back to our locker to change then the bell rang.

"Thank God its lunch am so hungry!" Dave shouted attracting some students to look at us

"You are such a foodie"

"Of course I know I am" he replied rather proudly. We left for the cafeteria when someone bumped into me,it was Garry the school ex-handsome guy

"Won't you say sorry?" I asked annoyed

"To who jerk" he replied.I got angry and clenched my fist I was about to give him a pouch when David pulled me away.

"Let go of me David" I tried to pull my hand away.

"Dude calm down take a breath"

"Am calm already"

"Mom called me and asked you to join us for dinner" David told me. David mom is my dad younger sister,she took up for the presence of my parents in my life. I regard her as my mom. Dave father died in an accident few year ago so it has been me David and mom.

Rose POV
I saw the argument between Garry and Robert. I hate the sight of Garry,just don't know why.
I feel attracted to Robert maybe because he is the first guy to argue and look me in the eye.
I was feared in my previous schools and no one talked to me and thinks am not one of them.
You never know the pain a person goes through isolated by his own peer at such a young age.
Probably because of the hurt vibe around me Becca asked me worriedly

"Rose is everything ok?"

"Yea just remember some stuff" I felt happy that at least someone is with me my parents and friend.

"Robert am sorry" I said to him and watched as his eyes widened and the next words that came out was something I didn't expect.

I was surprised Rose could come to me and apologize.

"It is nothing serious" I told her smiling

"Ok" She said and went back to her desk. I watched her as she goes,damn she is beautiful with her golden hair,honey eyes,pointed nose she looks like an ancient goddess. I was disturbed by David
"Dude you are staring much"

I was surprised when he said it wasn't serious cause I know it was.
I and Becca got to know ourselves more before the teacher came in. I must say Becca is a sweet girl.

"Everyone to the sport field now" the teacher ordered. I followed Becca to the girls restroom to change into our sports cloth.

I saw the JJJ,Janet and her two minions Jessica and Jane.
"Check who is here ladies" Jenet told her minions

"Ohh it is slutty Becca"Jane said mockingly. I noticed Becca clenched her hand tightly.

"And you are slutty Jane" I replied in Becca place.

"How dare you talk to my friend like that!!" Janet asked argry

"Oh I think it should be minion not friend and they don't dare me" I reply

"You will regret this"Janet mouthed and left.
Rebecca POV
"You should not have talked to her" I told Rose worried

"I didn't like the way they treated you" I was happy that someone finally cared about me but was worried about what Janet will do. Rose touched me on my shoulders as if trying to calm me down. We both left for the field.
Rose POV
After running some laps,I sat down on the bench with Becca.
"Robert is staring at you" Becca whisper to me. I looked behind and our eyes met. He quickly looked away when our eyes met.

I was shocked when she said those things like she read through my mind

"Ok Rose thank you so much"I told her

"You are welcome Becca"she said

The break was over we went to the classroom I had gone in and Rose was about to go in when Robert blocked the way

Rose pov
"Get out of my way"I told him

"And what if I say no"he replied smirking

"You don't wanna try me"

My eyes glow brighter and the wind blew him back making him hit his head on a table and everyone gasps.
I ran to the restroom to make my eyes normal and after some minutes it cooled down

Robert pov
I was afraid when her honey eyes glowed brighter like the sun and I was pushed by heavy wing I was like what on earth is that anyway my cousin David helped me to the school clinic

"He is going to be healed in two day"the nurse said to us and left

"Dude what was that all about"Dave asked

"I dunno"I told him

"Ok but your head have been bandaged so well"Dave teased me

"Stop it ok"I told him with a stern face. We went to the car park and our drivers took us home

Rose pov
I went home couldn't wait for school to be over luckily mom was home I explained everything to her and I was relieved like a load was lifted from my chest

"Rose don't lose control overcome the powers in you be the master of your powers and dont let your powers be your master understood"mom told me

"Yes mom"

"Now don't think about it and do what your heart tell you and come have dinner"mom said

"Thank you mom"I stood up and hug my mom

The next day I wore one of my best outfit a simple flowery gown and my gold sandals although I don't like gown. I got to school and went straight to the class and I saw 'him' his head bandaged so well I went over to him

I noticed a girl was staring at me on the other side of the row close to me
