In August 2023, two teenagers from Las Vegas—Jesus Ayala (17 at the time, now 20) and Jzamir Keys (16 at the time, now 18)—went on a crime spree that ended in tragedy.
• Jesus Ayala (the driver): Accused of steering a stolen Hyundai Elantra to deliberately strike victims, including 64-year-old retired California police chief Andreas “Andy” Probst, who was riding his bicycle. Ayala was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.
• Jzamir Keys (the passenger): Filmed the incident on his phone (video later went viral), showing the pair laughing and targeting bicyclists. Keys was sentenced to 18 years to life.
They also hit a separate 72-year-old cyclist earlier that morning (who survived injuries). The duo faced multiple charges including murder, and both were tried as adults.
Court appearances showed them reportedly smiling, laughing, and showing little remorse, which outraged the victim’s family.
Justice was served in December 2025 with maximum sentences, but the case highlights the dangers of reckless youth crime and the impact on innocent lives.

Zimbabwe’s leadership keeps surprising me in the worst ways.
This is absolute nonsense. A man accused of brutally killing 25 people is sitting in Chikurubi Maximum Prison, getting three meals a day, media attention, and now a personal visit from the First Lady herself. What exactly was the purpose of that visit?
To “understand the mind of a killer”? To give him more spotlight? Or just for content and headlines?
Instead of prioritizing the grieving families—who lost breadwinners and are likely still suffering in silence—she chose to sit across from the very person who caused all that pain. She even visited the affected families in Guruve (which is good), but why give this monster equal or more attention?
This sends a dangerous message: Commit horrific crimes, end up in a “5-star” jail setup, get national coverage, and maybe even a visit from the President’s wife. What incentive does that create for future would-be serial killers?
It’s an embarrassment for the country. Common sense and priorities seem completely upside down.
Honestly, the next visit should be to the families of those 25 victims—spend real time there, support them, and show where the nation’s heart truly lies.
This guy deserves no sympathy, no platform, and certainly no VIP treatment. F*ck him and this kind of backwards leadership.
What do you think—was this visit justified, or just another example of misplaced priorities? 🇿🇼
This is heartbreaking

a struggling tailor in Lagos who had gone five years without customers, was introduced by a friend to a Babalawo who gave him a small covered pot to bury in his shop. After performing a ritual involving pigeon blood, the pot was said to require human blood after a year to sustain the sudden success that followed.
As his business began to flourish—bringing him money, cars, and houses—the demands reportedly escalated to the blood of newborn babies. Afraid of losing everything, Babatunde allegedly began buying newborns from a doctor, draining their blood into the pot, and secretly burying the bodies.
The crime came to light when a mother refused to accept that her newborn had died. A police investigation followed, and the doctor confessed to selling the baby to Babatunde. After his arrest, Babatunde led officers to his shop, where they found the pot with fresh blood. He also admitted to burying the baby’s body, which police later exhumed.
Babatunde died in police custody a few days later, while the doctor involved was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
The story highlights how greed and desperation can drive people to commit unimaginable crimes. No amount of wealth or supposed spiritual gain is worth the life of an innocent child. Justice for the victims remains what truly matters.
