Request to Review Mid-Term Break Policy in Oyo State Schools

Dear Governor,

We, the concerned citizens and stakeholders of Oyo State, humbly request a review of the current mid-term break policy in our schools. The current 2-day break (Thursday and Friday) is insufficient for families separated by distance.

Many spouses live in other states, and this short break doesn't allow them to visit and spend quality time together. A week-long mid-term break would greatly benefit these families.

Additionally, teachers are overworked and need time to rest and recharge. Students also need a longer break to rest and refocus. Lagos State has successfully implemented a week-long mid-term break, and we believe Oyo State can benefit from this approach.

We kindly request you consider extending the mid-term break to one week. This will boost family bonding, teacher productivity, and student performance.
