ACCESSING YOUR WORKBOOK STATISTICS
Workbook Statistics is an amazing feature in Excel that provides you with the counts and other information about your current worksheet and the entire workbook.
For instance, if you receive a workbook from a colleague and you want to know how many sheets it contains without scrolling through, try Workbook Statistics and get the result in splits of seconds.
STEPS:
1. Select the "Review" tab as highlighted on the attached image
2. Select "Workbook Statistics" which is directly under the "Insert" tab
Automatically, the information displays.
Shortcut Keys: Ctrl + Shift + G
NOTE: This same method of accessing Workbook Statistics is not available in Excel 2013 and older versions.
Try this out and share the valuable information you got about your workbooks/worksheets.
To expressly view your workbook statistics, simply hit Ctrl + Shift + G

Hello Excel Enthusiasts
Do you know you can EXTRACT FORMULA FROM A CELL AS TEXT?
An Excel FORMULATEXT function helps you extract Formula as a Text string from a cell. This has been introduced in Excel for almost a decade now.
For instance, if a formula is used in a cell(s) and I want to show the formula array or the synthax to my students in a text form, then FORMULATEXT is the best deal in the game.
Looking at the image here, Column D (Full Name) contains CONCATENATE function which is the combination of Column B (Last Name) and Column C (First Name).
Then Column E (FORMULATEXT) displays the formula in Text form.
The synthax is very simple. Just one argument π
=FORMULATEXT(reference)
Where reference is the cell that contains the formula of your interest.
TRY THIS: Copy a formula in one cell and paste in another cell. What happens there will help you appreciate more the magic of FORMULATEXT.
Trust this is helpful or do want to know more about it?
