It was more than an orientation, it was the beginning of a new journey for survivors choosing to rise again.
Huge appreciation to ICF ESMO - European Society for Medical Oncology for believing in this vision, and to our amazing trainers, mentors, and brave survivor trainees who have stepped forward with courage and commitment. You are the heart of this work.
Weβre already two days into the program, and classes have begun. The journey is unfolding.
In the coming days, weβll be introducing you to the facilitators walking this journey with us and giving you a closer look at the impact as it happens.
Stay with us π€ This is just the beginning.

I will lend not just my voice, but my support, my strength, and everything in me because I am not just a breast cancer survivor. I AM A THRIVER.
I am a CERTIFIED PATIENT ADVOCATE.
I am a voice for those who are still finding theirs.
And unashamedly, I am a WARRIOR ON A MISSION.
On this World Cancer Day, I stand committed to impact, to encourage, to empower, and to push change where it matters most. We ride this journey together with courage, compassion, and purpose.
This is bigger than me.
This is advocacy in Action.

βMy world was turned upside down by a diagnosis of Stage 4 Breast cancer,
Cancer may end treatment, but it does not end the impact.
For many women, surviving breast cancer comes with losses, no scan can measure parts of their bodies, pieces of their identity, and a sense of familiarity with themselves.
A mastectomy is not βjust surgery.β
It is grief without a funeral.
It is learning to look in the mirror and meet a different version of yourself every day.
Wearing a breast prosthesis is not about appearance.
It is about courage choosing to show up in a body that no longer feels like home.
It is strength carried quietly, beneath clothes, beneath smiles, beneath the assumption that βsheβs fine now.β
Survivorship does not end when treatment stops.
The changes follow women into their homes, their marriages, their confidence, their sense of worth.
These stories are real. They are lived daily. Yet they are rarely seen.
Behind every survivor is a body that changed, a life that shifted and a dignity that deserves respect, care, and support.
Let us stand with survivors beyond treatment.
Because survival is not the finish line ,it is the beginning of rebuilding a life cancer tried to take away.
Most girls still donβt have access to basic menstrual hygiene kits - pads, innerwear, deodorants, and the education that protects their health and dignity.
This World Cancer Day, Engraced Life Foundation is reaching 3,000 girls with Dignity Hygiene Kits and breast & cervical health education.

What a Move, What an Impact!
From the streets to the screens, everywhere felt our impact!
The energy, the love, the unity, the pink power unforgettable! π
Together, we raised voices, spread hope, and reminded the world that early detection saves lives and survivors are the real warriors.
To everyone who walked, volunteered, sponsored, supported, and cheered from afar, you made history π
It truly ended in praise and purpose.
Letβs do this again, even louder, brighter, and bigger come 3rd OCTOBER 2026, by the grace of God! ππͺ

Did you know? The big pink ribbon string art we all created at PinkNaija Walk/Engraced Life @ 5 was more than just a fun activity πβ¨
Every string added by participants was a symbol - showing how each personβs contribution, no matter how small, comes together to make something whole and beautiful. π
Thatβs the heart of our theme this year: No one should fight alone. Just as the strings formed a masterpiece, our voices, steps, and acts of love unite to give strength and hope in the fight against breast cancer. ππͺ
Now hanging on our office wall, it stands as a daily reminder: together, we create wholeness, we create hope.
π Thank you to everyone who added their string, their voice, and their heart to this story of unity. You made this masterpiece possible! πβ¨
Thank you for setting this up ππ©·π©·π©·

DEEP GRATITUDE TO OUR PINK COMMUNITY! π
To everyone who walked with us, supported, donated, lent a voice, rode alongside, or simply added color and joy to β we celebrate YOU! π
Your presence, energy, and kindness carried the vision of hope, strength, and awareness through the streets of Port Harcourt. Because of you, the message of early detection and support for those affected by breast cancer rang louder than ever. πͺπ
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this movement doesnβt end with the walk β itβs an all-month affair. Letβs keep spreading the word, showing compassion, and being advocates for life. π
π‘ Next Step: Our Free Breast Screening Outreach continues! The next location will be announced soon. Stay close, turn on notifications, and join us in creating a healthier, cancer-aware community.
With overflowing gratitude,
Engraced Life Foundation says: We couldnβt have done it without YOU! π
God bless you! π
