1. If you're moving with your family and kids , please make sure the Sponsor ( the partner who's is attending School) must attend lectures and do her assignments. Under no circumstances must she ignore classes and go and work. It'll backfire . Your visas will be revoked and you guys may be sent back to Naija.

2. The dependant( the partner who isn't schooling must work to help pay the School fees, Accommodation and other expenses as the Sponsor can't really do anything with the 20hr work permit they have . You( dependant ) have full work permit . You must sacrifice for your partner . When she's done with School she or he will start contributing.

3. Look for cheap Accommodation via the internet and go around town on foot especially anywhere you see a barbing Saloon own by black people and African food Stores , tell them you're looking for cheap apartments to rent , they always know someone that will know someone that has it .

4. Do your groceries at Tesco, ASDA and buy your clothes from Primark . Things are very cheap here .

5. Look for 'One Pound Shop' where everything is sold for 1 pound and buy your groceries .

6. Go to your City Center and look for 'Charity shops ' they have very nice and cheap clothes and shoe too.

7. Pay your gas, TV and electricity bill on time . It help to reduce the cost overtime.

8. Don't go for credit at first . Wait and go for it after a year , so you can manage your credit well. Life in England is all about how good your credit scores are . If you default , in the future , you can't buy a house , car or even small stuffs like appliances on finance or loan . Very key .

9. Avoid African Churches . The gossips , dramas , pressure to outdo one another will weigh on you and may even put pressure on your partner and this may break your marriage because your wife may be negatively influenced by women in Church . Go to White peoples Church . Nobody get your time there , worship your God and go home .

10. Buy a bicycle if you live outside London , it will help you a lot to go around , nobody cares here wether you drive a car or not . It will save you money on transportation.

11. Look for smart jobs you can do certification online on, so you don't work too hard . It's all about information.

12. Save , make you save money oo.

13. Make sure your wife's friends ain't unmarried women ; especially those that work in hair Saloon and Hospitals . Let her make friends with married women , VERY IMPORTANT. If not , you'll be shocked that she isn't the woman you knew from Nigeria. Rotten tomatoes corrupt the others . Soap on a paper turns the paper to soap after a period of time.
