🏗️Most buildings in Lagos don’t fail because of poor construction.
They fail because of what happened before a single block was laid.
Lagos soil — especially in Lekki — is soft, waterlogged, and compressible. The top 10–12 metres can’t carry significant loads without the right foundation.
