Welcome to February

Solar techs don’t usually lose clients during installation.
They lose them AFTER handover.

I’ve seen this repeatedly on solar sites.

The system is installed.
Commissioning is completed.
Everything runs smoothly at first.

Then 6–9 months later;
– The system output starts dropping
– Batteries degrade faster than expected
– Inverters begin to trip occasionally/show alarm signals.

It is not because the installation was poor, but because;
- Clients were not properly trained on basic system operation
- There was no structured O&M plan
- Routine inspections were ignored

Solar PV systems don’t fail suddenly, they decline quietly.
This is why I’ve learned that installation is only part of the job.
Operations & maintenance is what protects performance and trust.

Both parties have a major role to play to make the system work efficiently.
