The last teacher for the day walked out of the class, immediately the students started packing up.

Pink, packed her notes into her bag with a grumpy look on, a look she plastered on all day. Hung her bag across her shoulder, she went out from the class to the hallway.

Tess went after her, she has noticed her dull face and has made up her mind to talk to Pink after class.

She ran after Pink and met up with her on the hallway.

"Pink" she touched her shoulder.

"Yeah" Pink replied her so grumpily not stopping to spare her a glance.

"Pink, what is it? You have been so dull. Why are you like this?" Tess asked following Pink out from the school hallway and into the school field.

"Nothing" Pink lied trying to get away from Tess.

"Seriously Pink, it's financial problem, isn't it?" Tess asked stopped in front of Pink to stop her from moving forward.

Pink stopped to face Tess. She had no other option but just to reply her with the truth.

"Yes, it is. So, will you let me go now?" Pink hushed brushing past her.

"I can help you" Tess stopped Pink again.

"Tess?" Pink called pi**ed that she wasn't letting her go.

"I can really help you, I promise. I have this new job offer for you"

Tess proposed.

"Is it another part time job? I already have dozen of them. Even if I get one more, it can't still solve my problems" Pink stated as a matter of fact.

"Why don't you trust me? This isn't a part time job? This job pays you in millons Pink, it pays" Tess said.

"Really?" Pink's brow joined together.

"Yeah, let me introduce you to the job. You can get paid within two weeks in millons too. I am an orphan like you are, how do you think I pay my fees? My apartment money? It's not magic ok? It's hard work" Tess convinced.

"Ok, where can I get this job? What will I do...." Pink tried asking.

"Let's just go, Pink, follow me to my car" Tess said.

Pink nodded, she followed Tess to her supposed car, her mouth fell open on seeing the type of car Tess owns.

"You....you are sure you own this car?" Pink asked in doubt as she pointed at the black flashy lexus car.

Tess opened the car with it's keys, smiles on, she beckoned on Pink to get in through the other side and she did. Tess ignited the engine and drove out from the school compound.

"Can you be faster Tess? Drive faster, my first part time job starts in 40 minutes" Pink said.

Tess shook her head.

"You shouldn't bother yourself with those part time jobs again, Pink. You are way too beautiful for those part time s**t, a girl like you shouldn't be seen during those jobs" Tess said to Pink but Pink ignored her.

They arrived mama Cassy X2 bar then came down.

Pink followed Tess into the bar, wondering if working as a bartender can earn her millions in two weeks. She doubted it.

Tess said some things to the bartender there in low tone before going inner into the bar through a door that is kind of hidden.

They walked through a passage for a bit before going through another door and that was when Pink's mouth fell open.

She started seeing numerous girls, her age and more inside. It was like ladies crew in there.

What is this place? She asked herself.

"Follow me" Tess said to Pink as she walked to an inner door there.

She got into the room there, she talked with some people there, a middle age woman to be precise.

The woman followed Tess outside to where Pink stood.

Pink kept watching the girls in surprise. The thing really surprising her was the fact that most of them are only on bra and panties. Some weren't putting on anything and there was no single guy in there. The presence of the lady made Pink to look her way.

The middle aged lady examined her like she was some kind of exam paper, a cigarette stick fixed in between her lips.

She pulled the cigarette out from her mouth and extended her hand to Pink.

"Hi, I am mama Cassy, welcome to Cassy X2 club house" the woman introduced.

"Hello, I am Pink" Pink also introduced.

"So, I heard you wanna join us?" Mama Cassy asked.

"Yes ma'am, but I don't know what you guys do here" Pink replied her.

Mama Cassy looked at Tess with questions in her eyes.

"Um..I am so sorry, I wanted to explain things to her here" Tess apologized to Mama Cassy then took over.

"What we do here is quite simple, Pink, vwe pleasure the big rich men and get paid in millions, top class X2 girls gets up to billions weekly tho" Tess explained making Pink's mouth open again in shock.

That explains it all. This is a sêx house, Pink thought.

Tess looked at Mama Cassy for permission and she was granted one.

She took Pink to the hallway. When they were alone Pink started.

She checked the time to see that she was already running late for her first part time job, she took a cab instead of a bus and left.

"Derek, why can't you introduce your sister to us? Why can't you? We can pay you any amount for a night with her?" One of Derek's classmate asked.

Derek scoffed, he packed his books into his bag and tried going out from the class but the group of three boys talking to him blocked his way.

But, when they saw a teacher approaching their way, they let Derek go, but still secretly followed him into the streets.

They appeared to him again when he was already lost in thought.

"Derek! Just a night with your sister Pink. Your sister is so amazing, just a night with her won't hurt, we'll pay honestly" the first said.

"Stay away from me and my sister, it's been long I fought. I don't wanna fight again kelvin, stay away from us" Derek warned.

"Or what? Is your sister a gold? We said we'll pay, didn't we?" The second guy rasped at him.

"Leave him, I bet his sister's p***y stinks. Her hole is also really wide" the third one amongst them said making the rest laugh.

Derek turned and glared at the third one, forgetting himself, he punched the guy on his nose.

Chapter 105 ARE THEY DEAD

~ADRIAN

I sat down in the car wondering what the hell I needed to do to get on Leah's good book. It was getting harder for me even though I knew I wasn't willing to give up. I lived her too much to let go of everything. My phone rang, and I picked it up instantly to hear what this thing had to say. After listening to him I took a deep breath. "If he won't comply, end him and leave no crumbs. Words from the master." I spat and ended the conversation. I wasn't ready for lib talks.

After that I threw the phone down, already feeling kinda frustrated. No one wanted to do my bidding. These criminals were doing everything to frustrate me. I wasn't willing to do law things; I could handle them in my own way and in Adam's way, and that was my joy. I got out of the car and stood in the garage, thinking of what to do to please Leah, even though she looked like she wasn't willing to talk to me. To shop for her then came into my mind so I got back into the car and then drove out.

I drove to a mall and couldn't help but be excited for what I was about to do.

I got into it and then saw a lot of beautiful clothes to wear in the female clothing segment. With a smile on my face, I got in and though I saw Leah's design, I didn't think I wanted that. I wanted to get her something she had not seen before even though it could serve as an inspiration for her new clothing line.

My eyes soon caught a black and stylish gown and that really grabbed my attention and was definitely grabbing the attention of many that passed by. I didn't think I liked the way it was being stared at by many. It could disappear if I didn't act fast. In that instant, I claimed the gown and went to the sales girl in there. "How much is this?" I asked her and she turned to pay attention to me.

"It's a million dollars, sir!" She said to me and I nodded my head.

"I would like this packed, please," I said to her, and she gave a surprised look and quickly grabbed it and started packaging it. "I suggest you get careful so you don't ruin it. It won't end well if you do that," I said to her, my voice chilling, and that made her stunned for a moment. I bet she wasn't expecting that sound from me. She then nodded her head and was gentle until she was down. I walked around the store and saw a purple mini gown. I felt like it would suit her figure and felt very impressed. My joy was she had a very beautiful shape and I was glad that this would fit just right. I looked at it all over and discovered that this one had a price tag on it. "3.5 million dollars?" I was a bit surprised. I then took it and asked that it get packaged. After that, I walked out of the clothing part of the mall and headed towards the shoes part.

"Welcome Sir!" The sales representative welcomed me, and while nodding my head, I started checking out some shoes. My eyes spotted a red heels and another white pair of heels and I felt enchanted. I imagined Leah putting this on and couldn't help but smile. This was really impressive. I thought and then picked them out and had them packaged.

I went into the jewelry segment and picked out a diamond bracelet and after I was done, I walked out of the mall and headed back home.

I parked the car in the garage and then took out the things I bought and then headed in. When I got closer to the door, I heard sounds of bright laughter coming from the living room and couldn't help but pause so Leah could laugh more. My heart ached knowing that I wasn't the reason she was this happy but I felt better that at least she could be this happy after I had selfishly stolen a part of her happiness from her. I wished she could see how sorry I was and give me a chance again. I summoned courage and walked into the sitting room and just like I expected, she quit laughing and put on a cold face the moment I walked in. "Greetings Ms Chase! Greetings Leah!" I greeted but this time, I didn't address her as Miss but by her name. That way I hoped she could see that I was trying to be informal and refill that spot that has been left empty for years. I walked closer to them and then placed the bags containing the shoes and clothes I had bought on the table at her front. "I just got this. I really hope you like it. The mini gown should be worn this evening. I would like to go on a date with you if you don't mind. 7:30 pm is a good time if you don't mind." I said to her and stole a glance at Delilah whose face looked touched. That look alone gave me a little hope. I felt like if Delilah was impressed then there would be a good chance of Leah being impressed. "I will be on my way now," I said and then walked inside. I got to the room that was designed for me. Though I never sleep in it, I place food and information in it because Adam could need it at any time, just like right now. He had messed me up the moment my car parked in the garage because he wanted a document.

I took the document from the room I turned into an office and then headed to his study room. When I got to the door, I knocked and pushed the door open. "Greetings Master!" I said to him and he nodded his head.

"Greetings! Where is the document?" He asked me and I placed it on the desk. "What's happening with those thugs?"

"They wouldn't cooperate," I told him and he frowned.

"Are they dead?" He asked me

"Hours ago, just like you instructed," I told him, and he looked impressed. I mean, if our own torture couldn't bring them to confess who sent them to come to attack the Chase Empire, then nothing else could get them to speak, even if we choose to go for their family members.

"Good!" He sounded impressed and then put down the pen in his hands and looked at me. "I see what's happening between you and Leah. I have just one advice: I can take anything from you, but I wouldn't take it if you ever hurt or disappoint her in the future. So if you know you aren't genuine, I advise you to let go." He said to me and I bowed.

"I'm not and will never joke with her. She means the world to me." I opened up to him for the first time in all humility.

He looked very impressed as he then tapped my shoulders.

Chapter 106 I PROMISE TO NEVER LEAVE AGAIN

"I have always known you mean well. Just don't change." He said to me and I couldn't help but feel greatly supported. If my boss could love that I was in love with his sister, then I didn't think I was going to have issues in being a part of Leah's life.

I soon left the study room and made my way back to my room and sat there, just thinking about what I was doing and what I wasn't doing. I went to the head of my bed and then took out a pillow to reveal a picture that had been there for ages. I looked at the younger version of me and Leah in a picture and kissed it. We had taken this photo long ago before I changed it to become who my master was becoming. I remembered the tears in her eyes knowing that I was no longer living innocently. A tear slipped out of my eyes at that instant and I got up and went into the bathroom and started splashing water on my face.

Who was going to tell her that I had cried every night all through these years? Who was going to tell her that my happiness vanished the moment she vowed to cut ties with me and her brother? My hope has vanished knowing that she wasn't going to step into Redwood and I could only get to watch her from afar.

I'm just glad that she now comes around, and all this was thanks to Delilah for being her backbone and her one true love outside Leah's blood relatives.

I went in for a shower and after I stepped out, I went to the bed and placed my back on it as I waited for a good time to step out to reach.

Adam didn't call me for hours and while making sure that everything that needed to be done was fine, I closed my eyes for a bit and opened it at exactly 7 am.

I sat up and looked at the clock again and again. I then got into the bathroom again and showered for the third time that day. I then got dressed after that and stepped out. I wondered if Leah had actually listened to me when I talked to her about the date I planned. I walked into the sitting room at exactly 7:27 pm and saw that no one was there.

She probably regretted me. I thought and sat down, covering my face in sadness. How else can I make her see that I'm sorry? I asked myself when I suddenly started hearing the sounds of heels. I stopped to think for a moment and then looked up only to see Leah walking towards me in clean steps.

I froze.

I then got up quickly and rushed to her. "You look great!" She said the moment I got to her and I looked down at myself and looked at my white suit that matched her white pairs of heels. I then looked at her shining skin that glowed and wondered how other parts beneath the mini gown were.

"You look so beautiful! No words can describe how magnificent and wonderful you look right now." I said to her and she smiled.

"I love the gown you bought. Looks good on me right?" She asked and I nodded my head.

"It looks wonderful on you. You look perfect!" I told her even though I was in disbelief that she was actually talking to me. "The car is outside," I said to her and brought out my palm for her. She placed her palms on mine and I took her out of the building and to the garage.

I opened the car door of the front passenger seat for her and she got in with a smile on her face.

I guess I wanted it to just be the two of us. I needed her to enjoy my presence from all angles.

I got into the car's driver's seat after making sure she was safe and then drove out of Redwood mansion to an expensive and private restaurant where I had fully booked just for the two of us. She stepped in with surprise all over her eyes and body. "This place is beautiful. I love it." She said to me and I nodded my head, grateful that she liked what I had to offer to her.

"Let's get in!" I said and took her in and then led her to the center of the restaurant, which was decorated with balloons, roses, and ribbons. I helped her sit on the chair and then sat closer to her. "Thank you for agreeing to come to this date with me. I can't thank you enough for this. Trust me when I say I love you, and I do not take this for granted." I said to her and she smiled.

"It's alright. Thank you, too, for making this happen. If you didn't insist and did all you did to try to get me back, maybe I would still be resenting you till this moment. I just want to say thank you to you and let you know that I have forgiven you. Even though you were away from me for years, I saw how you kept an eye on me and protected me in the most dangerous situations. Thank you, dear!" She said to me and I froze.

How did she know I was the one stepping in for her? I had always done those things in a way that would make her think it was all her brother's doing.

"It's good you still recognize my love for you," I said to her and then went on my knees. "Leah, I'm sorry for everything. I know I had broken your heart, and I had hurt you beyond measure. Please don't leave me, and I promise never to leave again. At this point, I'm willing to drop everything you ask me to drop. I'm more mature now, trust me." I said to her and she started sobbing.

"I don't think you have to. If you do and your enemies who are still alive notice, they could come for you. Regardless of what you have done in your life, you aren't a bad person. I know you aren't a bad person and I can vouch for you anywhere needed. I'm mature now, too, you know." She said to me.

This was the first time in years that I was having a proper and clean conversation with Leah and I would be lying to myself if I said I wasn't impressed. Leah sounded really beautiful, and I was so excited for her. Never thought she could be this brilliant. She had always been but she had graduated to a better point. "Does this mean that we are now together?" I asked her and she laughed brightly. One that melted my heart completely.

"Yes! I will come back to you! I still love you!" She confessed to me and I couldn't help but cry as I then grabbed her. I noticed the tears on her face and held her cheeks gently. "I'm sorry for not standing by you too. Trust me, I was scared and only wanted the best for the both of us." She cried and I looked up at her.

"I understand my love. Thank you for not leaving. I promise not to hurt you again." I promised her and we shared a very deep hug, one that sipped into my bones and melted every tough spot in me. Leah reminds me that I'm human every single time and I'm glad that the one soft spot in my entire being was reserved for her. "Let's eat!" I then said, pausing the hug and wiping her tears.

Chapter 107 PAIRS EVENT IS TOMORROW EVENING

I laughed on my bed going through the media and focusing on exciting things on it while ignoring every headline my name appeared on. Suddenly, I saw a post about Leah with the caption, "Guess who just found live again!"

A wide smile appeared on my face in that instant as I then scrolled through the photos she posted and just like Leah could, she didn't post Adrian's photos and only posted his palm.

I laughed out as I felt like it was quite funny pulling off things like that. The fans would feel like she was lying or just teasing them. I opened the comment section and what I saw was expected.

Commenter 1; "Leah has been finding love. I just hope this one lasts if it's true. Beautiful flowers though."

Commenter 2; "Aww, baby girl is urging us to go get our own man. Good thing bitch! Anyways, make sure this one lasts."

I looked at the second comment for a while. I couldn't help but frown. I couldn't tell if this person was genuinely being happy or trying to shame her because of her list of dating history. Was she kidding right now? Nah! She's got to be kidding because her relationship is going to work this time. Adrian loves her. He will never fail her.

I then remembered the event that was coming up soon. Hell! I bet the media would be out there cooking what they were going to ask me. I then started getting worried wondering if I should even answer a question. "What are you doing?" Adam asked me from behind. He had just stepped out of the shower and was staring at me with an eye that I really thought would be a good idea to hide from.

"The media. Everything is going crazy and Leah has trending." I told him with a smile. "But for a good reason though. Baby girl found love again. I'm so happy for her and how she's trying to figure her life out in the right direction. I bet Adrian will take care of her." I told him but he didn't say a thing. I bet he was trying not to get involved with two adult stuff. "That reminds me. I had an event coming up. Lena did send me the invitation days ago. I think the event is in two days or so. Can you come with me?" I asked him, and instantly, he looked interested.

"I guess this is important. I wonder what it feels like walking side by side with Delilah Finn-Chase on the red carpet. I can't wait to get this feeling." He said to me and I couldn't help but laugh.

"it indeed feels good you know. I'm just excited that for the first time, I get to walk on the red carpet with trust, love, and a husband who adores me back." I told him and he came to meet me on the bed and caressed my cheek.

"You look more beautiful every day, by the way." He said, kissing me, and sooner, I knew just what he wanted and let him have his way. We made sweet love to our satisfaction, and then there came the satisfying sleep that comes as evidence that we did it just right.

The next morning, I got up and rushed to make breakfast for everyone. I didn't think Leah returned the night before because there was no sign of her around even though I had not checked her room.

After cooking, I served the dishes in the dining and was about to go call Adam when I heard the main door open. I looked back and saw Leah walking in and shining. "Good morning!" I said and rushed to hug her. "I bet you enjoyed your night," I said to her and she rolled her eyes.

"In love, yes, but I could taste pleasure, and you know how much I liked that thing." She said, and the moment she saw that food was served, she rushed to the dining room and sat down.

I stood behind her confused as to what the hell it was that she was talking about. I then walked into the dining and sat beside her. "You mean? I didn't get it. You know what, we can talk about that after eating. I need to get your brother to come down here to eat." I told her and headed for the stairs

"PAIRS Event is tomorrow evening. How well are you preparing for it?" She asked me and I paused to look at her.

"Adam has agreed to go with me," I told her and her eyes widened

"That's a good thing, Delilah! You see! I don't get to do things meant for your romantic lover anymore. If it was that jerk, I'm sure you would have had to do this with me." She said to me and I couldn't help but smirk.

"I guess I chose better this time," I replied and rushed to go call Adam. I came down to the dining with him minutes after, and together, we had our breakfast.

Later in the day we sat in the sitting room together as we were alone in the house and staring at the television when I randomly recalled that she was trying to tell me something before breakfast. "What did you say you didn't get to enjoy yesterday? From your post on the media, you did look like you had fun."

She laughed when she heard me. "Adrian is being so traditional. He doesn't want to touch me until we are married. Delilah, I am yet to imagine us ever getting married, and that's something he is yet to understand. He said he would wait, but for how long? You know I can't cheat on him as long as we are together but if this continues, I don't think I will be able to take this." She said to me and I was really surprised to hear this.

It turned out he wasn't a bad person. "I think this proves that he loves you deeply and shows that he has self-control," I told her, and she agreed.

"He's never done it before. He has kissed once, though, and that was the first kiss I had with him." She told me and I agreed with her. "That's very great to hear. I'm glad for you girl. He's unlike those men you have had things with. You won't even have to bother about him cheating on you as long as he is still in love with you." I told her and that made me remember Adam's patience with me. I bet she had no idea how patient her brother was with me.

Chapter 108 THE END!

It felt very delightful hearing that from her. We had fun telling each other different things, and soon, it was Paris Event Day.

Our Rolls Royce pulled up at the front of the red carpet and Adam got out first. I could see the camera going Gaga the moment they sighted Adam Chase. Though he was rarely seen, he was extremely popular and powerful. The air outside was freezing and though a lot of questions were on the minds of everyone around the carpet, including other celebrities but none dared to speak for fear of offending him.

He gracefully walked towards the other part of the car and opened it for me, and the moment my face was brought to light, the atmosphere changed to a brighter and sparkling form.

Delilah! Delilah!! Delilah!!!

I could hear my name from every corner of the room and couldn't help my smile as I then turned to look into my man's eyes. He looked very happy for me and so excited that I seemed to bring out the diamonds in the sky. I waved at the fans from the outer angle, screaming my name, and smiled gracefully as other celebrities forgot about their own lives and paid attention to me instead, but in the midst of the entire universe, Adam's warmth at that point was the most important.

We slayed on the red carpet together and after we were done, we walked in and straight to the seats reserved for us. I saw our names on the seats and was surprised that they made such a special spot for us at the forefront. Turned out he already got it arranged on our behalf.

After the events, we went back home and the first thing I did was to soak myself in a cool bathing water with fragrance all over the place. I was away from all that chaos and at peace with myself.

I stepped into my room later and looked at the time, it was past 5 pm. I then wore a robe and walked out of the room and there he was, chilling in the sitting room as though he wasn't breaking the internet at the moment.

"Look!" He said handing the phone that was on the couch.

I took it and smiled. "I'm glad haters can now eat their world. I'm married to not just the greatest in the universe, I'm married to my best friend's brother. I married my life, my everything!" I muttered and saw the light in his eyes. I put down the phone and sat closer to him as he then grabbed me closer to him and locked his lips with me. It felt like heaven and I felt grateful knowing that this would be forever.

Six days later, I was seeing my very best movie when I heard the door open, and when I looked, it was Leah and Adrian being all lovey- dovey as he helped her in and helped her settle on the sofa. Right after, he greeted me and left.

"Girl guess what?" She asked me, giggling.

"What?" I asked with the same energy.

"I'm married!" She said, showing me a ring on her finger and a marriage certificate.

I jumped in excitement and rushed to hug her as I wasn't expecting that at all. "Girl, when did this happen?" I asked her.

"Yesterday and guess what? We already started making love." She muttered excitedly and blushed at the same time.

"I guess we are both lucky and fulfilled now, or don't you think so?" I asked her and she laughed and hugged me really tight. "No one is as excited as me right now else maybe you." She said and winked at my belly.

"What?" I almost choked in my laughter.

Ten months later, I stood at my room balcony staring at the city and admiring how scenic the view was when I felt a comforting and warm grab on my waist.

I turned to look and it was Adam admiring my entire being with his heavenly eyes. "How are the twins?" I asked him and he looked back towards the room to stare at our beautiful twins on the bed and smiled.

"They are as blessed as I am to have you." He replied, kissing my forehead.

I enjoyed the warmth. "I am the happiest and luckiest woman alive!" I replied to him, and he smiled in satisfaction.

"Delilah, I will love you forever!" He then vowed.

Chapter 98 GRACIE SLEEPS AROUND FOR CONTRACTS

"Um, I don't think I should. For security's sake." I quickly said and she laughed from the other end.

"How about I come over then? You will see me in a second." She then said and hung up. I had to go back in and chill in the sitting room. Not long after, she showed up in a pink jumpsuit and rushed to hug me. "Now I know that God is still with us." She said to me and I couldn't help but laugh.

"You think so? I think Adam is the one with us in this case." I replied to her, and she paused to think.

"Why do you say so?" She sounded curious.

"I don't know but I just feel it. He didn't just come for me but for you too. That's like questioning the whole of Chase's legacy. It was too low for him to indirectly support the narrative of us being le****ns. I think it infuriated your brother." I said to her, hoping she understood.

"And then all of a sudden, the government has something against him?" She got the hint. I snapped my finger.

"Exactly what I thought," I told her and she started laughing.

"If it's so, trust me, he deserves it because we haven't done him wrong. You dated him and never cheated on him but he did worse. Imagine having something with Gracie. That's bad!" She sounded pi**ed.

A week had passed since all of that happened, and according to a news report, Ajay was arrested by the police, and his bank account was frozen. Ever since then, my name has not left the mouths of his chicks, especially Gracie, who was currently on a live video. I stared at my laptop screen trying to grasp what her point was.

I chilled and drank as much as I could and after I felt satisfied, I got up and left.

"Okay, I think these headlines are great, but why get you involved when you literally don't know this girl personally?" Leah asked with a frown.

I laughed at her facial expression. "it's okay though. It's just to spice things up I guess. I didn't force this man down her p***y did I?" I asked her and she agreed.

"Yeah, but I just feel like these media should stop getting you involved with people's downfall. I am going to watch her tapes." She said to me and I continued laughing.

Gracie's tapes were all over the place and I couldn't help but laugh when I saw that. She was hot in bed, though, but her career is gone, sadly. I walked into the kitchen later that evening and cooked some food meals for me, Leah, and Adam. After I was done, I got them served on the table and invited Leah over to the dining the moment it was 7:30 pm. The moment we sat together to eat, Adam walked in, and I felt better. "Welcome honey!" I got up and hugged him. He returned the hug in a better way and sat down to eat. I had to serve Adrian some food, too, and he was happy to eat as he sat down close to Leah, whose facial expression changed instantly. I couldn't help the atmosphere, so I raised my voice while talking, hoping to ease the tension.

After dinner, I walked into the bedroom with Adam and helped him take out his clothes seeing as he looked exhausted from the day. "We could shower together," I said to him, and he looked like he was excited about it, so together, we walked into the bathtub. Adam grabbed me closer and hugged me while our bodies enjoyed the warmth of the water. "How do you feel?" I asked him and watched the smile that appeared on his lips.

"I'm elated. At least for the fact that Ajay would never bother you again. Do you trust me?" He asked me.

"Yes! I heard he is with the police. Will they jail him?" I asked him.

"I don't think I want that but he's definitely going back to square zero by the time he gets out of this. His company is gone though." He spat and my heart skipped a beat.

Now I didn't think I needed anyone to tell me how dangerous Adam could be. I guess Ajay coming for me even when I was at my lowest and in my husband's arms triggered the hell out of him. I smiled and placed my body on him.

When we got back to the bed, we kissed until we were out of breath and then fell asleep.

My life the next day was almost silent.

I went on social media and realized that no one was attacking me in any way that I didn't want, and that got me really chilled. Was this what it was like never having to deal with strange enemies? I thought and closed my eyes on the couch. When I opened my eyes again, it was evening and then there were sounds coming from the kitchen. "What's up, girl?" Leah asked me as she stepped out of the kitchen.

"Great! Just chilling. No tantrums on the media." I said to her, and she laughed and sat down close to me.

"Who said so? When last did you go on social media?" She asked me and I couldn't help but frown.

"Who could be dragging me this time?" I asked her and she laughed.

"Your fans!" She spat and I bursted out laughing and then went online in that instant.

"I AM A PROUD MEMBER OF THE FINN NATION, SO I THINK I'M QUALIFIED TO QUESTION THE QUEEN! DELILAH AREN'T YOU GONNA INTRODUCE A KING TO US? THE EMPIRE NEEDS ONE... GIRL PLEASE!" A proud fan wrote and the writeup was going viral.

I laughed out really hard on seeing that that a tear started to fall out of my eyes.

I then replied; "Do you really want a king?"

I went offline knowing that my little response was going to break the internet and make headlines. I proceeded to pay attention to Leah as we discussed and laughed about certain things. Suddenly, she picked up her phone and showed a surprised look. "Girl, did you really say this, or is the media making this up?" She asked me and I stretched my neck to see what she was talking about.

"Oh yeah, I typed that," I replied to her, and her eyes widened.

"Really? Did you really do that? I'm shocked as hell. I can't remember the last time you had a casual talk with a fan. Oh my gosh, this is sweet." She said to me and I couldn't help but laugh.

Leah was a perfect fan at that moment, and it was cute as hell. I was too proud of it and she looked so sweet and that I was starting to get emotional. Later that evening, I was in the pool having fun with the water when I saw Leah running towards me. "What's wrong?" I couldn't help but stop to ask.

I took the phone, and the next thing I saw was an already verified media account of Adam Chase. "The last time I checked, he doesn't have a social media account," I said to her as I checked this account that already had five million followers. "Okay, nice. I'm not surprised he already had such a huge following with a verification badge. He's famous even though he's mysterious."

"And that's not the point. Have you looked at his first post?" She asked me and I was stunned by her words. I then scrolled down and held my chest in shock.

"What's my photo doing there?" I asked her, already feeling shy.

"Well, it looks like brother just made your love public." She said and jumped in excitement as she left.

It took me minutes to be able to process everything.

I got out of the water and then went into my room and changed into fresh wear before jumping on the bed to understand everything that was happening in the media. There was just a photo of me being cheeky during the queens' tour on his media page. I guess this was what kept drawing followers to him because, at the time I was looking through his profile, he already had seven million followers.

I tapped on the picture of me and saw it already had three million likes. I then clicked on the comment sections. Commenter 1; "Somebody make me understand what my Queen's photo is doing on Adam Chase's page?"

Commenter 2; "Are you interested in the queen, or are you just a fan?"

Chapter 100 I LOVE YOU ADAM!

Adam has got a lot of explanation to do with me tonight. I thought and went offline. I placed my head on the bed, thinking about everything that was going on online, and couldn't help but smirk.

Adam just exposed me.

I had no idea when I fell asleep, and when. By the time I was awake that morning, I looked around me and realized that my husband was nowhere around. What do I do now? I thought and went into the bathroom to freshen up for the day.

I stepped down to the dining room later and saw my husband busy setting up the table. "Baby" I ran to him and hugged him.

"Good morning," he said to me and kissed my forehead. "Never knew you were this beautiful", he said all of a sudden, and I couldn't help but be stunned.

"I have always been beautiful. Why did the King of Finance deem it worthy to post my photo online, huh?" I questioned cheekily.

"Why did the Queen of entertainment deem me worthy to be her husband?" He replied and I blushed. At this point, I was starting to feel pity for him. This man had been my husband for as long as I could remember and I feel like I haven't been doing what I ought to do as his wife. I felt like he had been patient enough. Besides I had gotten over the other man. I do not think there was any other reason to keep him waiting. I sat down close to him and resumed eating. It was midday when I opened my eyes again, and seeing him staring at me with his eyes shining, I couldn't help but be surprised. I had seen it before, but not this way, I guess. I got up and quickly a d hugged him really tight. "Did you have a nice nap?" He asked me and I laughed.

"The fact that it was on your lap made it more exciting. There is nothing more to say." I said to him and got out of the bed with him. He carried me into the bathroom and we had another round of shower together.

"let's use this." He said, bringing out a long white towel that was capable of wrapping four individuals and wrapped me to his body as then took me to the balcony where we relaxed.

A maid walked up and brought a bottle of wine with two glasses and then poured it for the both of us to enjoy before leaving.

While we sipped our delicious drinks, I stared into his eyes and couldn't be more enchanted.

I never want to stop feeling this way." He said to me and I felt emotional about it.

"I love you too." My voice was below whispered because of the depth of my feelings at that moment. I teared up after a few minutes and continued sipping my wine while we caressed each other. "Never thought you could ever be in love," I said to him and he looked at me with a smile on his face.

"I never thought I could be this deeply in love with you either. It's a discovery for me. You are so amazing. You have no idea how much you touched every part of me in every way." He confessed to me and I hugged him tighter. This felt like a very big blessing to me.

He brought out his phone again to look through the photos we had just taken. "I like this one," I said pointing to one of the photos.

"Really?" He asked and I nodded. "I will post this one then." He then went online and uploaded it with the caption; "I am her one and only!" I looked into his eyes and dropped the wine I was sipping before trying to act naughty. While she walked into the kitchen to cook, I took control of her phone and looked through everything that was happening in there. The media was going crazy already.

Seeing all of these headlines not only gave me hope but also made me realize just how far I had come with Leah. She indeed graduated from being my best friend and sister to my sister-in-law.

This was sweet to think about, and after a while, I dropped the phone and stared at the television, waiting to see her step out of the kitchen before helping out with setting up the table.

"Wait, wait, wait. You can't just leave. When will you be bringing him home huh? Don't tell me you're about to hide him like you did with Ajay." She said to me and I couldn't help but roll my eyes. I doubt I was ready for Ajay's conversation. "Plus, there is no even proof that you aren't lying to me. You know what's the most important."

Uninterested, I took the phone out of my ears for a while and then placed it back. "I will visit at a good time. You can let Grandpa know about it too." I then hung up the phone and took a deep breath.

I wasn't surprised.

These family members never cared if I lived or died. They only want things that would sharpen their image and make it stronger than it used to be. But whatever it was I think I shouldn't care about that and only focus on what brought me happiness at this point.

I felt like my mood was shifting so I then got up and walked into the kitchen to go be with Leah. I felt like only she could suppress whatever ill feeling I was going through at that moment.

I walked into the kitchen and couldn't help but smile seeing how focused she was in trying to make us dinner. "Done?" She asked me I nodded.

"Yeah. I was going to remain seated there, but I think there is better for me." I told her and she nodded her head.

After cooking, we arranged the dining table together and then sat down to eat. A few minutes later, Adam stepped out and then joined us. "This is delicious." He muttered and looked at me deeply.

I cleared my throat and then smiled. "Well, I didn't cook it. Leah did!" I told him.

"Regardless! Your presence made it sweeter." He stated and I froze. Was he being serious? Why the hell did he do that? I looked up at Leah and saw her cheeks already flushed red. "I will get out of my singlehood sooner than you expect." She replied to him, and I was stunned.

Was that what all of that was about? I thought.

"Greetings everyone! Greetings master!" Adrian walked in and I couldn't help but take a deep breath. I felt like he just saved Leah the moment he stepped his feet inside the mansion.

"Welcome Adrian! Please join us." I told him and Leah looked up at me as though I made the wrong choice.

"Thank you, Ms Chase!" He said to me and went to sit very close to Leah, who glared at him, but he didn't mind it.

Those actions got me thinking really deeply. Was he enjoying this? Or was he used to this? I couldn't tell which one was the answer though. I looked up at Adam and saw they he didn't care about the things going on between Leah and Adrian. After dinner, I got up and left while Adam followed after.

When we got into the room, I couldn't help but sit on the bed and look at Adam. "Do you really not care about this tension that appears whenever Adrian comes close to us in Leah's presence? I feel like there is something but I have no idea what to make of it.

"I suggest we let them figure it out. Adrian is a man. If he's smart enough he will see it and make good use of his chance." He muttered and I was surprised he actually said that to me.

Adam was such a good brother. "Not everyone will take this, but you are flexible and always thinking about the other party. Thank you!" I told him in all sincerity.

"That's because Adrian is a good man and would never attempt to play games." He replied to me, and it got me thinking. I guess I could see where he was coming from. "Thank you so much."

"If you really wanna thank me. You know what to do." He said to me and I laughed out loud and watched him jump on me.

"I feel some kind of way down there," I told him.

"Let me help you then. I know exactly what you need." He muttered in my ears causing my cheeks to turn red from blushing. He saw that and I guess it only fueled his burning desires towards me.

Chapter 103 I THINK HE WAS A BIT EMOTIONAL ABOUT THAT

I had had enough of this man close to me. I looked up at him and caught him staring at me, his eyes blank and I didn't know what to make of the sudden attention. "It would be better if you just eat without looking up at me. I believe you know the right thing to do." I said to him, and he smiled, looking at me. I didn't think I was smiling and that caused me to wonder why the hell he was looking at me.

"I'm enjoying the food. I know you cooked it." He said to me and I rolled my eyes. I got up, giving up eating already, and started heading towards my room. "Miss!" He called, his voice filled with panic as he tried to reach out to me.

I noticed he was still following me even when I had gotten to my door so I decided to pause and then turned to stare at him. "Please let me know what you really want from me," I said to him and he nodded his head.

"I didn't mean to make you lose your appetite. Please come and finish with your meal." He said to me. I looked at the sincerity in his eyes and suddenly started feeling helpless.

"under one condition. You will let me eat and in peace. I'm not interested in you talking to me or even staring at me." I said to um and turned back and went into the dining room. I had actually cooked this food with the intention of enjoying myself enough.

I went back to the room after I had eaten. The moment my head touched my bed, I fell asleep.

What woke me up the next morning was a knock on the door. Excited I got up and opened the door only to be greeted by Adrian's face. Stunned, I looked around. Nah! I knew who I was expecting. "what the hell are you doing at my room's door?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Good morning Miss! I noticed you will be waking up late so I brought you these. Please enjoy it." He said to me and I looked at his hands. There were several breakfast dishes on the tray he was holding.

He just said he brought me breakfast. When did he start bringing me breakfast? I felt deeply offended and slammed the door on his face so hard that I bet he was stunned.

"F**k you!" I cursed and pounced on my bed and punched my pillows several times. I didn't like him. That was all I could think about. I soon managed to shower and then got into the kitchen to make myself something light when I spotted Delilah dressing a tray. "Someone is so in love she is about to bless someone with morning breakfast." I teased her, and she looked up at me.

"Good morning!" She said, laughing, and I rushed to hug her.

"I was having a bad morning, but seeing you have just solved everything for me, trust me," I said to her, and she laughed.

"You think so? Come here!" She then took me into the dining room and sat me on one of the chairs. After that, she walked into the kitchen again and returned with the tray I had seen her dressing. She brought it close to me and then placed it right in front of me. "now have your breakfast. I was actually going to bring it to your room since you were still sleeping, but I guess the dining room is the best place this morning."

I touched my chest getting really emotional. "Really? Oh my gosh thank you. Adrian was about to ruin that with his own food and I'm glad I didn't accept it." I said to myself and she burst out laughing.

"Yeah, I saw you rejected it. I saw him throwing it away and had to question him. He did tell me you rejected it because it was trash. I think he was a bit emotional about that." She said to me and I froze. "I never said it was trash. He assumed that. Why the hell would he even dare to bring me breakfast." I was starting to get pi**ed again as I ate the food that was in front of me. "This man has grown lots of feathers. He now stares at me in a very annoying way. Like, tell me why this man is trying to talk to me. He might be handsome but I don't think so." I kept ranting and ranting while Delilah just stared at me in amusement. I noticed the smile on her face and thought that I might have said a lot of things and then paused. "Did I say something funny? You are smiling!"

She laughed again. "Why is it so hard to see that you are actually interested in this man? Besides, you haven't told me why you don't like him. So I guess I'm all ears at the moment." She said to and I bit my lips in confusion.

"Um, I just think he's dangerous. Like why did he have to be dangerous? I remember when my brother automatically changed, he chose to be one of the men my brother could trust with his dealings. You have no idea how annoyed I was when I heard that and even had to see that. Guess what? Years later he is the most dangerous after Adam." I poured out my heart and coughed hard right after that, my cheeks burning.

Delilah went silent for about five minutes before clearing her throat. "Did you both ever date?" She asked me right where it hurt, and a tear streamed out of my eyes.

She grabbed me in that instant and placed my head on her shoulders. "I'm sorry if I'm digging deep my love. We could take it slowly. You know I will always be here for you regardless." She assured me.

"I'm doing this for us. I will always protect you and you know it. I will wait for you whenever you are ready." he said to me and then turned and walked away.

I stood there staring at him and wondering where the hell I had gone wrong and why it was quite hard to get him to forget about me. It wasn't like he loved me anyway." I thought and glared at him as he walked away.

The moment I couldn't see any part of him, I fell on the floor and started crying, wondering if he ever loved me.

I looked at Delilah and saw that she could understand me a bit now. "I hate him for throwing everything beautiful we could have been having right now. Do you know after that moment, he never cared to look at my face? That was one of the reasons I stopped talking to my brother because I felt like he ruined my entire life and happiness. I didn't deserve it, Delilah. He didn't search for me to try to talk to me either, even though he protected me, but everything was underground and always dangerous. I felt pained. I was angry and the only person who made me happy all through that period was you." I said to her and she nodded her head even though she was surprised.

"I never knew that. You did tell me about a man you once loved but you didn't tell me it was Adrian." She said to me and got up. "Wanna swim? Come on, let's get it done," she said, and I got up and followed her.

We got to the pool in the building and she sat down on the pool and had her legs dug in the water. Seeing this, I joined her, too, with my eyes closed as I felt the warmness of the water do something to my entire being. "this feels therapeutic." I said to her, and she looked at me and laughed.

"That's why I want us here. I need you to relax, okay? You are not alone. Everyone in this city and beyond has got their own story and while some might not be the exact case, trust me when I say your case is softer and better than a lot. So please honey, you can't let this steal your happiness." She advised me and I then cleaned my tears.

"Thank you! I really do appreciate you for this." I said to her. She hugged her really tight, and then I placed my fingers in the water and played with it.

"Don't you wanna swim?" She asked.

"Not until you jump in," I replied with a smirk. "Ahhh!" I screamed as she then pushed me inside.

I beat the water as I tried to get out so as to not entirely feel the chill that came with that. Delilah burst out laughing, and that caused me to swim closer to her. I pulled her by the lag, and she got into the water, too, and struggled with coping with the same chill I felt.

I bursted out laughing too and then we started splashing water at each other playfully. It took us a while to get used to the water and sooner it felt warm again. We enjoyed playing and after we were done, we found our way back in and changed into fresher clothes. "Dear! Come have dinner." She called me into the dining earlier, and I sat down to eat. After eating, she took me into the cinematic room so we could see a movie.

"I think I would prefer an hour-long movie. I need to go to bed earlier." I told her and she selected just what I wanted. After the movie, I sat down there, almost in tears. It was an emotional one that did give me hope that evening.

"I wanted to say something to you. I expect you to sleep on it." She suddenly said and I turned to look at her.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I know you are angry with Adrian. I know you think he is dangerous and evil and doesn't deserve to be with you anymore. Honey, all I have said might be the truth or a lie but there is one truth no one can deny. Adrian seemed to be swept away by you. He loves you and it shows. He would give you the world. I just want to see you happy again and trust me; it doesn't have to be about him or because of him. I do hope you choose to give love a chance again. Look at me. It took me a while but here I am, in love with Adam. He's doing everything to ensure that I'm happy. You have no idea how much we both have sacrificed for each other and here we are." She said to me and I nodded my head.

I could understand what she was saying. Delilah did go through a lot because of Ajay but here she was again, fully in love with Adam even though he wasn't perfect and was worse than Adrian. "I will sleep on it. Thank you, dear." I then hugged her and we left together.

I retired to bed the moment I got into my room, and when I woke up the next morning, I showered and stepped out of my room only to bump into Adrian, who seemed like he was coming towards the door. "Good morning Darling!" He said and touched my arm but I shoved him off "You aren't supposed to be touching me without my permission. Who the hell do you really think you are Adrian." I asked him and he stared at me without a word and sooner I felt like I was being overly harsh towards him in a way that he didn't deserve because of how innocent he looked when I yelled. I was starting to feel frustrated about the situation. "What do you want from me?" I asked him, and he grabbed me by my waist for the first time in years. "You can't do that to me. Let me go." I said to him and tried to push him away but his strength couldn't be matched. "Are you now manhandling me?" I questioned and he took his hands out in that instant.

"I'm sorry it was never my intention." He apologized immediately and my brows creased a bit. I never felt like he did anything wrong, and at that point, I felt like I was losing it already.

"It's alright," I said and chose to walk away. I walked into the kitchen and saw that Delilah was busy making breakfast for the both of us. "Good morning!" I said and went to hug her. "This is for us right?" I asked her, and she smiled.

"Someone got it right this time." She said and turned to hug me too. She then turned again and continued with her food and I couldn't help but smile.

I joined her in cooking, and after that, I went into the dining room with some of the food she had prepared.

After our breakfast, I felt like I should go out for a bit. "Can we visit a park? I miss the park." I said to her and she went into deep thoughts for a while.

"We should buy don't you think that will give us some really unnecessary attention?" She asked and I remembered that we were public figures. That got me discouraged for a moment. "But I have got a fun idea." She said, and I looked at her, wondering what it was. She then whispered something in my ears, causing me to giggle.
