Zuma Rock, located in Niger State, Nigeria, is the second-largest monolith on Earth, after Uluru (Ayers Rock) in Australia. Standing at a towering height of 725 meters (2,379 feet) above sea level, Zuma Rock dominates the landscape just north of Nigeria’s capital, Abuja. Its base covers an area of about 3.1 kilometers (1.9 miles) in circumference, making it an imposing natural structure.
