They are threatening Ndigbo for US-Israel military operations in Iran.
Extremists in Kano are now openly announcing attacks on Igbo business areas in Kano on Friday because of US-Israel military operations.
Why are innocent Ndigbo the scapegoats for Middle Eastern geopolitics?
How does attacking Ndigbo avenge the US-Israel military operations in the Middle East.

Why is the US not relenting on Iran's nuclear program?
The US (and much of the West) operates on a "breakout time" logic. By late 2024/2025, Iran had reached 60% uranium enrichment: a technical stone's throw from the 90% needed for a weapon. The US fear isn't just about a single bomb; it is about nuclear proliferation. If Iran goes nuclear, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt might feel forced to follow, ending global non-proliferation efforts.
Is it a threat to US supremacy?
In a direct "who has more" contest, no. However, a nuclear-armed Iran would change the "rules of engagement." It would provide a "nuclear umbrella" for its regional proxies (Hezbollah, Houthis), making it nearly impossible for the US or Israel to intervene against them without risking a nuclear exchange. This would effectively end US military dominance in the Middle East.
Are the Iranian protests US-orchestrated?
While the US provides digital support (like Starlink or bypassing internet blackouts) and vocal encouragement, historians and analysts generally agree that the massive 2025–2026 protests were domestically fueled by a collapsing currency (the Rial) and decades of social restriction. To say they are purely "orchestrated" overlooks the millions of Iranians risking their lives for local grievances.
The Death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
As of this morning, Iranian State TV has officially confirmed the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Reports indicate he was killed during the massive US and Israeli airstrikes on February 28, 2026, which targeted his compound in Tehran. This is a seismic shift; he had ruled since 1989.
In 1989, Ali Khamenei transitioned from the presidency to become Supreme Leader following Ayatollah Khomeini’s death. Despite limited religious credentials, he consolidated power by militarizing the state through the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps).
Coinciding with his rise, the Cold War ended as the Soviet Union collapsed (1991). Khamenei viewed the Soviet fall as a warning: he concluded that reform and Western rapprochement led to regime death. This shaped his "Khamenei-ism," defined by fierce anti-Americanism, a pursuit of nuclear deterrence, and a rigid refusal to liberalize.

The world woke up to a different map today. With the official confirmation of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s death following the Feb 28 strikes, we are entering the most volatile chapter of the 21st century.
Why is this happening now?
The Nuclear Red Line: Iran was weeks away from breakout capacity. The US and Israel decided they could not live in a world where a nuclear umbrella protected regional proxies.
While some claim external orchestration as regards national revolt, the streets of Tehran have been burning for months due to economic collapse. The US just threw a match into an already fueled room.
This is not just about a regime change; it is about who controls the pulse of the Middle East. With the "Supreme Leader" gone, is this the birth of a new Iran or the start of a regional power vacuum?
History is not just being written; it is being rewritten in real-time.
What do you think? Is this the path to regional peace, or are we on the brink of a much larger conflict?
Let’s discuss below.

For the first time, VDM said something deeply honest. And whether you like him or not, you can’t ignore it. His activism, commentaries, and community interventions exist for one reason: a dysfunctional system.
He made it clear that renovating schools is not his responsibility. And he is right.
Nigeria has a structure:
Local Government — Chairman
State Government — Governor
Federal Government — President
Each level has defined responsibilities. So when schools decay, hospitals collapse, and basic services fail; why do citizens turn to social activists instead of demanding accountability from elected leaders?
That is the uncomfortable truth. When activists start doing government work, we normalize failure. We shift responsibility. We celebrate survival instead of demanding structure. It is not about defending VDM. It is about confronting reality.
If the system worked, would personalities like him even rise to this level of relevance?
A broken system creates loud voices.
A functional system makes them unnecessary.
So here is the real question:
Why do we fold into complacency and rely on activists for rescue instead of holding chairmen, governors, and the president accountable?
Are we empowering activism or excusing governance failure?
Let’s have an honest conversation.
What do you think: is activism filling a gap, or replacing responsibility?

Whispers in Abuja say the president is not just resting or jet-lagged. They claim he is seriously ill. The Paris trips? Many believe they are medical, not diplomatic. The real question now is not if... It is who is running the country?
Power does not wait for weakness. Remi Tinubu has shown she is not in A*o Rock to smile for cameras. Reports of her publicly shutting down Gov Adeleke’s speech raised eyebrows. Authority is shifting visibly.
Then there is Nuhu Ribadu, Nigeria’s National Security Adviser. Loyal, powerful, and in control of intelligence flow. In politics, information is power and whoever controls it shapes the narrative.
Meanwhile, Reno Omokri: once one of Tinubu’s loudest critics dramatically changed tone. From fierce opposition to alignment. Politics? Strategy? Or ambition? Nuhu Ribadu is a 2031 project while Reno is warming up for running mate
Here is the deeper fear: If Tinubu cannot complete his term, Kashim Shettima automatically becomes president. No election. No fresh mandate. Just constitutional succession.
Nigeria has faced presidential transitions before. When Umaru Yar’Adua died, Goodluck Jonathan stepped in and later conceded power peacefully. That moment earned global respect. But today’s political climate is more polarized. Trust is low. Emotions are high. If leadership changes suddenly, will Nigeria unite or fracture further?
This is not about rumours. It is about transparency, stability, and the future of 200+ million people.
Nigeria deserves clarity.
What do you think is really happening behind the scenes?
Funnily enough, I'm sharing this 😂 😂😂

They celebrate a criminal. You ignore your Kings.
Centuries ago, a Roman man broke the law; performed secret weddings and gave out flowers which defied their tradition. Consequently, he was executed.
Today, the world pauses to buy chocolates and roses in his name. We call him Saint Valentine. We embrace his rebellion as the ultimate act of love.
But here is the irony: While we set tables for a Roman martyr, we burn the bridges to our own bloodline. We were taught that our ancestors’ ways: their connection to the Almighty, their wisdom, their rituals were darkness.
We celebrate a man who was beheaded for defying Roman tradition, yet we feel too civilized to honour the very people whose DNA gives us life.
Cultural superiority did not just take our land; it took our pride. If a Roman abomination can become a global Saint, why are your own roots still treated like a curse?
Then tell me in the comments, should Africans celebrate their traditions with the same pride the West celebrates theirs?

Why are Chinese miners operating in Nigeria’s most terror-ravaged areas?
A shocking report from the U.S. Congress has just leveled a massive accusation that Chinese miners in Nigeria are allegedly funding Boko Haram and other terrorist groups under the guise of protection money.
That claim raises bigger questions. Many of the most terror-affected areas in Northern Nigeria are also rich in solid minerals: Gold. Lithium. Rare earths.
Interestingly, foreign miners are often found operating in these same dangerous zones; even in communities that have been attacked or abandoned.
So what is really happening?
Is this: A security failure?. A geopolitical power struggle between the U.S. and China? And who is truly benefiting from the "protection" being paid? Or something deeper tied to Nigeria’s mineral wealth?
When minerals and insecurity overlap, we should not ignore the pattern.
Nigeria deserves transparency.
What do you think is really going on?

The era of Invincible hideouts in Enugu is officially coming to an end.
Governor Peter Mbah has greenlit a massive security overhaul. The Enugu State Forest Guards are not just patrolling anymore; they are undergoing intensive, high-level combat training to wipe out the presence of Unknown Gunmen and bandits from their forests.
By raising the minimum pay to N80,000 and integrating local hunters who know every cave and river, the state is transforming the Forest Guards from a "watchman" group into a professional strike force.
The goal is simple: Secure the forests, protect the farmers, and restore the peace that Ndi-Enugu deserve.
Is a localized, community-driven Forest Guard the final answer to the South-East security crisis?
