BeaconYouth Initiative participated in a one-day review meeting for the Nasarawa State Climate Change Local Adaptation Plan of Action (LAPA). The event was organized by , Building Blocks for Peace Foundation and Eco Net . The LAPA document provides a structured framework to address the critical impacts of climate change in the state.

During the review, participants shared insights and recommendations to enhance the document and improve climate change adaptation outcomes.

Essential digital skills to drive impactful advocacy and foster economic empowerment gained.

attended a two-day event on Awareness & Right Holders Training on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) with duty bearers in Nasarawa State, held on 23rd September 2024 in Lafia, Nasarawa State. The activity organized by with support from Hivos brought together right holders, empowering them with critical knowledge about their SRHR and equipping them to take charge of their health and well-being.

BeaconYouth Initiative attended a one day inception meeting organized by Advocacy for Women with Disabilities Initiative AWWDI with support from Hivos and project. The meeting focused on building a strong movement to advocate for inclusive Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) for women with disabilities and ensuring that SRHR services are accessible and inclusive for women with disabilities in Nasarawa State.
