A ranar Sallah, Allah Ya cika zukatanmu da farin ciki, zaman lafiya da albarka.
For the International Day of the Boy Child, we got the opportunity to hear from the AYP coordinator what it feels like working with these young adolescent boys, and his answer carried something powerful. He described boys who are responsible, accountable, and increasingly intentional about the choices they make boys learning to think, to pause, and to lead themselves with care.
It feels important to say this: boys are not just who society tells them to be. With the right support, they can become thoughtful decision-makers, not just expected roles. And that kind of growth deserves to be seen, nurtured, and protected.
The boy child deserves to grow without having to prove his masculinity every second.
Teach him that kindness is strength.
Teach him that softness is not weakness.
Teach him that rest is human.

In a bid to strengthen partnerships that improve public health outcomes and the wellbeing of adolescents and young people, our team paid an advocacy visit to the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) under the MATASA Project.
We presented key progress from the first quarter and explored new areas of collaboration, with discussions focused on HIV/AIDS response, hepatitis interventions, and youth-focused health programming.
