DIARY OF A MATHEMATICS TEACHER 📘✏️

Dear Diary,

Today, I didn’t just teach numbers… I touched minds.

I walked into my classroom with my lesson plan, but my pupils walked in with different fears:

“Drawing of angles haaaa…”
“I don’t understand…”
“I’m not good at it…”

But guess what?
By the end of the lesson, those same voices were saying:

“Ahhh! I get it now!”
“Math is actually easy!”
“Can we do more?”

And right there… that moment… THAT is why I teach. ❤️

It’s not just about solving for x or drawing perfect angles.

It’s about building confidence.
It’s about turning “I can’t” into “I just did!”

Some days are tough

Explaining the same concept 5 different ways…

Encouraging the child who has already given up…

Marking books till my eyes say “rest please!” 😅
But then…

A child smiles because they finally understand.

Another proudly solves a question on the board.

And suddenly, it’s all worth it.

Dear Diary,

Being a Mathematics teacher is not just a profession…

It’s a mission to change mindsets, one number at a time.

Tomorrow, we go again. 💪✨

Our school has officially launched a MATHEMATICS CLUB… and guess who is in charge? 😊

Your very own Math tutor — Mrs Bodunde! 💃📚

Honestly, my heart is so full right now.

Today, I got to meet my little mathematicians for the first time, and the energy in the room was everything!

The excitement, the curiosity, the confidence… it was simply beautiful to see.

But the moment that truly melted my heart? 🥹

Hearing my learners boldly say:

“I love Mathematics, Mrs Bodunde!”

Ahhh! That right there is the dream.

That is the mission.

That is the impact. ❤️

This is more than just a club…

It’s a safe space where children will explore, play, discover, and fall in love with Mathematics in a whole new way.
