Reflection- It Could Be You.
You should not give what you cannot take. Be nice
There should be 4 working days in a week... Fridays should be holidays
Social Media can be brutal,
So brace yourself if you want to be here

Not my Mate.
So recently, there was a lot of pressure of different kinds. It was so chaotic that I broke down in tears😭. After crying to my satisfaction, I cleaned my tears, watched a movie while eating to replenish my lost tears. My mentor said I have no mate in this life so I should not be pressured by anyone about anything or any situation.
So in case if you see me relaxing at work, just know that I have no mate biko.... 😊 😁
Farewell 2024.
May the joys and blessings remain with us, kindly go with the pain and sufferings.
Amen.
WHILE MEN SLEPT
While men slept, Evil took over
The innocent suffered
The young dreams aborted
The women wept
While men slept, our hope was buried
Scammed, bruised and disappointed
Our voices buried deep in the soil
And our mandate stolen
While men slept, promises were broken
Equity and justice took a flight
Our hearts shattered into pieces
Our tears uncontrollable yet ignored
While men slept, the wicked triumphed
Having planned and taken our voices
We were asked to go to court
A place we have no confidence
While men slept, the majority was disenfranchised
Our peaceful protest was tagged disruption
Our concerns kicked under the carpet
The people were denied their power

unfortunately not everyone shares this belief, hence the natural hazards we see today, the rate of deforestation and desertification is becoming alarming and the innocent plants and animals dying every day is disheartening. You are a different human, and we cannot appeal to them but having someone who can is a very big help for us.
As I watched Mazula talk, I could feel its pains and I began to understand the effect of the human actions against the animal and plant kingdom. I had promised to do my best. Planting trees anywhere I can and rearing animals for posterity.
I was shown around the enchanted forest and I took time to understand and admire the beauty of nature, found out its secret and as well enjoy the serene environment. It was too beautiful to be abandoned. The sparkling river flowing at the middle of the forest reflecting like mirrors and to think pearls, seashells and other aquatic treasures were there in abundance. I got to really understand that God did not just create the heavens and the earth but brought paradise to earth.
As I walked through the forest admiring the beautiful marigolds, ixora, roses and lilies I started wondering why nature holds some many mysteries, I turned to ask Mazula about the secret mysteries of nature and felt cold water dripping on my face, as I raised my hand to wipe it , I heard that familiar sweet voice.“Adanna, stand up, your mates have gone to the river”, I stood up and realised it has all been a dream, my mother Ugodiya stared at me as if I had gone crazy because I started crying. She knew me to be a lover of nature and how happy I am to go to the river, hence, her confusion.
How could I start explaining to my mother that I had been in dreamland, and a beautiful one at that? How I saw a magical creature and the assignment I was given, my village is not even Amapu but Umudim, and I am not Emerald but Adanna Uzondu. I stood up, cleaned the house and took my bucket as I headed to Uzoaro river.

I followed in a slow pace until we got to a waterfall I never knew existed in Amapu since my twenty-three years of existence on planet earth. Passing through the water fall brought me to the most beautiful place I had seen in my life; words cannot describe the beauty before me. I saw different beautiful flowers with fragrance lovelier than the perfumes used by humans. The rose petals were reflecting as if they were made from diamonds.
The unicorn called me again “Emerald”; I was shocked to discover that an animal had the ability to speak and the fact that it called me by my name was mind blowing. Then the next thing it said shocked me the more, it had recited the following lines:
Ever wondered why the sky is blue?
Ever pondered why the plants are green?
The gentle breeze from the east
Moving down elegantly to the west
These are the beauties of nature.
The sweet melodies from the birds
The nice fragrance of beautiful flowers
The rays of the beautiful sunlight
Complementing the calm beauty of the moon
These are the beauties of nature.
I stood transfixed like a mannequin wondering where all these was leading to, understanding my dilemma, it went ahead to explain “I am Mazula, princess of the enchanted forest. I know you are surprised about my ability to talk and my knowledge of you and the human world. I am a magical creature that has been hunted by many but unable to be captured. I picked interest in you because you are a lover of nature, I have seen the way you take care of plants and animals, the tender loving care you distribute, the things you considered little or unimportant as you did them really meant a lot for us all. The beauty of nature lies in the care of our common home which is the earth.
