Frank Gehry, one of the most influential architects of the past century, has died at the age of 96. His work reshaped expectations of what buildings could be, pushing structural engineering and digital design to new limits.

Gehry was best known for the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao (pictured) — a project widely credited with transforming its city and redefining cultural architecture. Our long form documentary on YouTube explores that project and its impact in detail.

Born in Toronto and based in Los Angeles, Gehry became a global figure whose impact reached far beyond aesthetics. His early adoption of digital modelling tools changed how complex forms could be designed and built, influencing an entire generation of architects and engineers.
