*CORRECTIONAL TRAINING SCHOOL COMMANDANT LAUDS NSCDC KADUNA BOSS, SEEKS STRONGER INTER-AGENCY COLLABORATION*
The Commandant of the Correctional Service Training School, Kaduna, CC Raymond Yohanna Jatau, has emphasized the need for leaders of paramilitary agencies to strengthen their services and restore the noble values and standards for which the institutions are known.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, CC Panam Musa Buba, on 2 June 2026, Commandant Jatau described the NSCDC helmsman as an embodiment of knowledge and experience. He noted that his visit was aimed at drawing from the wealth of wisdom and leadership qualities possessed by CC Panam.
He further invited the State Commandant to serve as the Special Guest of Honour at the forthcoming Annual Correctional Leadership Award Ceremony and appealed for personnel support to ensure a successful event.
In his response, CC Panam Musa Buba appreciated the visit and reaffirmed the cordial and longstanding relationship between the NSCDC and the Nigerian Correctional Service. He pledged support for the programme and acknowledged the significant role the Correctional Service has played in training and capacity-building for NSCDC personnel.
The visit concluded with photographs and exchange of pleasantries.

NSCDC KADUNA COMMAND DEPLOYS 2,000 PERSONNEL FOR EID-UL-ADHA SECURITY OPERATIONS
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, under the leadership of State Commandant CC Panam Musa Buba, has finalized security arrangements to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free Eid-ul-Adha celebration across Kaduna State.
To enhance security during the festive period, the Commandant approved the deployment of 2,000 personnel, comprising 120 Senior Officers and 1,880 rank and file officers, to provide security at prayer grounds, strategic locations, recreational centres, highways and other critical areas across the State.
The Command directed Area Commanders and Divisional Officers to intensify surveillance, strengthen intelligence gathering, and enforce crime prevention measures within their jurisdictions. Special attention has also been given to major prayer grounds, public gathering points, and highway patrols through Operations Fushin Kada.
The Command will collaborate with sister security agencies and urged residents to remain vigilant, law-abiding, and provide credible information to security agencies to ensure a safe and peaceful celebration.

*NANS Kaduna Axis Honours Commandant Panam Musa Buba*
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Kaduna Axis, paid a courtesy visit to the Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, where the State Commandant, CC Panam Musa Buba, was honoured with a Letter of Commendation and Medal of Honour.
The recognition was presented in appreciation of the Commandant's outstanding contributions to national security, his leadership efforts during his tenure, and the professionalism demonstrated in safeguarding Critical National Assets and Infrastructure, which remains one of the core mandates of the Corps.
While receiving the award, the Commandant expressed appreciation to the leadership Comr. Anas and members of NANS for the recognition, describing the honour as a motivation to continue delivering on the Corps' responsibilities with greater commitment and dedication.
CC Panam Musa Buba further emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and encouraged students to remain law-abiding, support security agencies with credible information, and continue promoting peace and unity within their communities and educational institutions. He reaffirmed the Command's commitment to protecting lives, property, and critical national assets across Kaduna State.

*KADUNA STATE DISABILITY AFFAIRS BOARD PAYS ADVOCACY VISIT TO NSCDC KADUNA COMMAND*
The Kaduna State Disability Affairs Board, led by the Executive Secretary, Hajiya Rakiya A. Umar paid an advocacy visit to the State Commandant, CC Panam Musa Buba, to strengthen collaboration on the protection of persons with Disabilities (PWDs) against exploitation, violence, abuse, and discrimination.
During the visit, the Executive Secretary highlighted the Board's mandate and emphasized the need for stronger institutional partnerships in promoting and protecting the rights and welfare of Persons with Disabilities.
In his response, the State Commandant appreciated the delegation and reaffirmed the Corps' commitment to protecting vulnerable groups. He assured the Board of NSCDC Kaduna Command's readiness to strengthen collaboration through intelligence gathering, public sensitization, and prompt response mechanisms to ensure justice, inclusion, and protection for persons with Disabilities.

*NSCDC Kaduna Strengthens Partnership with Code of Conduct Bureau on Transparency and Ethical Service Delivery*
The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, CC Panam Musa Buba, received the State Director of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), Mallam Babajo Adamu, alongside his management team during a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters.
During the visit, the State Director highlighted the statutory mandates of the Bureau, particularly in promoting integrity, accountability, transparency, asset declaration, and ethical conduct in public service. He noted that the responsibilities of the Bureau align closely with some of the mandates of the NSCDC, especially in the areas of discipline, public trust, protection of national assets, and enforcement of lawful standards within society.
Mallam Babajo Adamu further enlightened the Command’s management team on the provisions of the Code of Conduct for Public Officers and stressed the importance of compliance with ethical standards in the discharge of official duties.
In his response, the State Commandant, CC Panam Musa Buba, appreciated the visit and described the engagement as timely and enlightening. He further requested for a special sensitisation session for officers and personnel of the Command to deepen their understanding of the Code of Conduct Bureau’s mandates and ethical requirements for public servants.
The Commandant also assured the Bureau of the Command’s readiness to strengthen collaboration and synergy in promoting integrity, discipline, and professionalism in public service.

The State Commandant, CC Panam Musa Buba, presented certificates to officers and men following the successful completion of various training and capacity-building programmes.
The Kaduna State participants, led by the Head of Department Training, DCC Idu Friday, alongside four other officers, successfully completed the Certified Instructor Course at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Centre for Civil Defence Studies, Civil Defence Academy, Sauka, Abuja, held from 4 to 8 May 2026.
Similarly, IC Bege Chechet participated in a training programme at the Army Headquarters, Department of Administration, from 3 to 7 May 2026, where he obtained the First Regimental Srgeant Major (RSM) Certificate of Participation.
