Following the STREET-WISEE project, with support from Intek Lounge, we recently held a Canva design training where trainees learned practical techniques and creative approaches to improve their design skills.

The trainer, Hassy Bonnet, led a session focused on building visually appealing content and understanding basic design principles.

Participants actively engaged in hands-on activities, exploring different tools and features within Canva. It was an interactive and insightful experience that enhanced their creativity and boosted their confidence in digital design and communications.

We participated in the two-day validation workshop for the reviewed Kaduna State Youth Policy, implemented by the Kaduna State Ministry of Youth Development. The workshop is organized with the support of the Lafiya FCDO Programme.

The purpose of the validation workshop is to provide stakeholders with the opportunity to review the draft policy document, offer final inputs, and ensure that the policy reflects inclusive priorities that address the needs of young people across Kaduna State—particularly disadvantaged, marginalized, and vulnerable groups, including youths with disabilities.

We attended the PEACECORE II Reflective Structured Dialogue Training and Mentorship, organized by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Neem Foundation, to strengthen dialogue between pastoralists and farmers.
The training equipped us with practical tools for conflict analysis, active listening, and inclusive facilitation. It also provided a safe platform to reflect on shared challenges, build trust among stakeholders, and explore sustainable, community-driven solutions. Through the mentorship component, we gained ongoing guidance to apply these dialogue approaches effectively in the communities we work with.

We participated in a one-day workshop on engagement with local CSOs for advocacy actions, as implemented by Bincike International in Katsina and Kaduna States. The EMPOWER (Economic Mobilisation for Peace, Opportunity, Women's Empowerment and Resilience) project, with support from UK International Development through Nigeria Spring and Tetra Tech, focuses on intergenerational group conversations on peace, conflict, and economic resilience.
The engagement highlighted key project achievements, including the outcomes of intergenerational group conversations on peacebuilding, economic resilience and combating gender-based violence, as well as how civil society organisations can consolidate on these efforts.

STREET WISEE is stepping into 2026 stronger than ever. Through youth hubs, digital advocacy tools, peer-led campaigns, and powerful community partnerships, we’re scaling the fight against drug abuse and criminality—online and offline.

More voices. More skills. Greater impact.
The movement is growing, and the message is clear: choose purpose, not drugs.

On International Day of Education 2026, under the theme “The Power of Youth in Co-Creating Education,” young people are on the move—not just sitting in classrooms waiting to be taught. They are thinking, imagining, and actively shaping the future of learning. When youth voices are heard and their ideas are valued, education becomes more meaningful, inclusive and alive.

At PACE Institute, we celebrate the power of young minds to co-create learning that transforms lives and communities.
