Hope is the foundation, and this hope is Christ, the Hope of glory

YES TO JESUS, YES TO YOUR FUTURE

Anyone who has chosen Jesus Christ or said “yes” to Him has already defined his or her future. Such a person has decided on a tomorrow filled with joy, peace, and fulfillment. Saying yes to Jesus Christ is the greatest decision anyone can make in securing the future.

Abraham said yes to God even when the circumstances and conditions did not appeal to human reasoning. Yet, his future became clear because of his obedience. His yes to God brought blessings not only to himself but also to the entire world. This means that when we say yes to God, we cannot say no to our neighbor. Whenever the needy call, we must be ready to say yes, because agreeing with God means becoming a blessing to others.

Several years ago, Kent and Ruth Hodge said yes to Jesus Christ, even though it cost them a lot, including family relationships. Today, it is clear that they defined their future through that decision. Their yes to Jesus Christ has brought answers to the problems of thousands, if not millions, of people across Africa, including abandoned and homeless children, widows, orphans, and many others. Their agreement with God has become a great blessing to countless families and homes.

Every semester, students from different states in Nigeria and neighboring nations come to CFI with a resounding yes to their Master in order to define their future. Anyone without Jesus Christ is without hope for the future, and a nation without Jesus Christ is a nation without hope. CFI, as a Bible college, is positioned to rebuild hope in communities and nations. Those who receive the knowledge of Jesus Christ become healing leaves, bringing healing to communities and transforming lives.

Have you said yes to Jesus Christ? If yes, then He is saying, “Feed My lambs.” He is saying, “Take care of the needy.” Just as Kent Hodge said, we see hope in a nation when we love our neighbors as we love ourselves. This is what it truly means to say yes to Jesus Christ.

Hold on to God; He will always fulfil His promises.
