RURCON in Partnership with The Herbert Trust Foundation, trained and empowered 10 vulnerable widows from Jos South, Jos North, Bassa & Bokkos LGAs of Plateau State, with knowledge and funds for business. Some widows were able to up scale their already existing businesses, and others were able to start up new businesses. The intervention to these widows is to empower them to provide for their families and improve their standard of living. The core of what RURCON and the Herbert Trust Foundation do is to eradicate poverty in fragile communities in Nigeria.
