We are all certain to face challenges on the journey of life. What we don't always know is the dimension and gravity of the problems. But regardless of the challenge you are encountering now, one thing you must remember is the fact that no one is immune to challenges.

When we encounter problems in our day to day activities, there is a tendency for us to be discouraged. But our discouragement should never lead us to give up. Neither should it make us settle for less. We must remember that God is all knowing and he knows and sees everything that is happening to us every day. If it is something that you cannot surmount, He will not allow it to come near you. But for the fact that He allows it, is a sign that He knows that you can handle it.

In a competition, the participants are aware that it's one who endures the pains or the challenges in the process who will win, not the one who give up. Therefore, they go in for the contest with their hearts prepared to endure any form of pains or challenge that they may face in the process.

We too must remember that life is like a battle field, where we are in a constant competition with the challenges of life. At the end, the people who will win, will be those who didn't give up but persevered to the end. God has endowed you with all the qualities that makes for winning, but you must believe this and go for the battle like a giant and not like a grasshopper.

The secret of this battle is to forge ahead regardless of the momentary pains or inconveniences you may encounter. You are a victor and a champion, and these category of people never give up. Defend the title by forging ahead.

ANNIVERSARY MESSAGE

It is with great joy in my heart that I write this anniversary message. Today marks five years of the existence of this platform (*Learning Zenith*). Of course I must say that the journey has been a wonderful one; a combination of pleasant and unpleasant moments.

Over the years we have had moments of celebration; both for the group and for our members whom God granted privileged positions (We are sincerely grateful to the Almighty God for protecting, keeping and sustaining the group thus far). On the other hand, we have lost some members of this platform over this period of time and we pray that their souls rest in peace with the Lord.

This platform would have long been forgotten, if not because of all of you. I mean you reading this message. Your presence in this platform is not only encouraging but a motivating factor for us to keep working daily for the betterment of the group.

Let me also use this opportunity to appreciate all those who contributed/supported us in one way or the other over this period of time. We are sincerely grateful for your support and we pray the Almighty God to reward you with abundant blessings.

As we celebrate this day, we assure you of our unwavering commitment and determination to see this vision become a reality in all ramifications. We can not claim to know everything, therefore, our doors are wide open for good suggestions, observations and constructive criticism from all of you.

In the spirit of the celebration, I wish to announce the introduction of two new segments of activities on this platform. The new segments include *Health Tips* which we shall observe every Friday, and *The Members Speak* which shall be taking place every last Saturday of the month.

As we move ahead with our activities, daily may God show us mercy and continue to bless us abundantly. Amen.

HAPPY FIVE (5) YEARS ANNIVERSARY LEARNING ZENITH

As the year (2024) comes to an end, we are all happy and grateful to God for His protection, provision and guidance over our lives from the beginning of the year to this point. If you sit down and look carefully at the events that happened this year, you will have many reasons to thank God for the numerous blessings you have enjoyed from Him.

At the beginning of this year, many people had different plans of what they will do at different times in the year. In this moment, a reflection on what transpired through out the year, will not be out of place for proper planning of the new year.

Since we are human beings who are not perfect, we might have made some mistakes, and if that is the case, what are those mistakes we have made within the year? It will be good for us to reflect on this mistakes, not to be angry about the mistakes, but to avoid them in the new year that we will soon step into.

Again, we should also remember to look at our areas of strength, the areas we excel in and think of how to build more on those areas.

If we look back, we will see that no matter how bad the year might have been for us, we have achieved some or all of our goals. This is worthy of celebration.

Also, knowing fully well, that other people are always vital component for the achievement of our goals, we need to take out time to appreciate all those who have helped us this year no matter how little the help may be.

Heavy weight usually impedes motion, therefore, we need to look at the weights we are currently carrying; a weight of unforgiveness, a weight of anger, a weight of bitterness, a weight of stigma, a weight of unavoidable mistakes and any other thing which we know may hamper our progress in 2025 and lay them off in order to move faster in the new year.

Finally, we are all aware that motion will not be successful without vision. Therefore, we need to journey into the new year in our hearts and plan step by step how we are going to achieve our goals for the year. In doing this, we need to avoid the temptation of setting unachievable goals, because they may affect our progress going forward. End the year well by seeking for forgiveness from those you have wronged and forgiving those who might have wrong you this year.

A man walked into a hotel and after going through the menu, he ordered some food.
After about 20 mins a group of guys and ladies walked in & ordered theirs.

To his dismay, these folks got served first. He watched as they began to eat & laugh heartily.
He even overheard one of them bragging about how connected he is to everyone in the hotel and he felt mocked.

He decided to leave. Unable to take it anymore, he called the waiter. The waiter calmly told him: "Yours is a special order, being prepared by the chief chef himself.

Their orders were prepared hurriedly by students on attachment because the top chefs are busy with yours Sir. That's why they were served first. Please have some juice as you wait". He calmed down & waited patiently.

Shortly after, his meal was served by 6 waiters. Unknown to him, the owner of the hotel (who happened to be an old long lost friend of his) saw him when he entered and decided to surprise him.

She changed his simple meal to a five-star meal. The party at the other table were shocked.
They couldn't stop staring. Suddenly they were the ones murmuring, asking why they didn't get that kind of service and meal.

Such is life! Some people are ahead of you and are eating now, laughing at you and talking about how they are smarter, wiser and better than you, how they are well connected, blessed, have money and are enjoying life .

You are waiting tirelessly wondering why it's taking so long to breakthrough, You endure mockery and humiliation.
Maybe you have contemplated su***de, gone through depression or suffered severe mental anxiety.

Do not worry! The owner of the world has seen you and doesn't want you to be served a simple meal like those making a mockery of you. You're waiting long because yours is a special meal.

It takes time to prepare. And only chief chefs prepare them.
Wait for your meal and relax . When it comes that laughing party will be silenced for good.
