I strongly condemn in the clearest terms the unfortunate and unprovoked attacks that recently and still occuring in Jos metropolis of Jos-North LGA-Plateau state, which have led to the loss of innocent lives and left many families and friends in deep sorrow.
Such acts of violence have no place in our society and threaten the peace and unity that our communities have worked tirelessly to build over the years.
It is deeply troubling that innocent citizens going about their lawful activities could be subjected to such brutality.
My heartfelt condolences go to the families, friends, and loved ones of those who have lost people in these tragic incidents. I share in your grief during this painful time and pray that God grants you the strength and comfort needed to bear these irreparable losses.
I also urge security agencies to intensify efforts to ensure that those responsible for these heinous acts are swiftly brought to justice, while taking proactive measures to prevent further attacks and restore confidence in the safety of our communities.
At this difficult moment, I call on all citizens to remain calm, law-abiding, and united in the pursuit of peace, justice, and mutual coexistence.
May the souls of the departed rest in peace.
