Development Trust Initiative (DTI) gladly joins the rest of the world in commemorating the International Day for Micro, Small and Medium sized Enterprises with the theme"The Circular Economy β A Paradigm Shift with a Human-Centered Approach and MSMEsβ Role,"
Acknowledging the pivotal role of MSMEs as the engine room of any economy, Development Trust Initiative (DTI) has been committed to the growth of MSMEs and a frontliner in empowering Youth and Women owned MSMEs in Plateau State, Nigeria. In a build up to the 2024 International MSMEs day, DTI actively participated in the launching of the Plateau State Government Policy on MSME, 2024-2027 on 25-06.24 at the Banquet Hall , Plateau State Government House. The policy among many seeks to enhance the survival, growth and sustainability, of MSMEs in the State.
DTI has indicated it's preparedness to partner with Plateau State Microfinance Development Agency(PLASMIDA) to deepen the sustainability of MSMEs in the State and Nigeria in general. This has culminated in the successful completion of the first phase of DTIs flagship program "Graduate Entrepreneurship and Employability Program ("GEEP).
As we set to commence the second phase of the GEEP, DTI through partnership with relevant stakeholders to address some of the underlying challenges confronting MSMEs in the State for MSMEs growth and job creation.
