At RBS/RISS, we believe that cultural differences should not separate us from each other, but rather cultural diversity brings a collective strength that can benefit all of humanity.

The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence. Either have children or become a saint, because eventually, you have to find something you love more than you love yourself. Children make you want to start life over. What is a home without children? Quiet.
Children are mirrors, they reflect back to us all we say and do. If you want your children to turn out well, spend twice as much time with them and half as much money. Let parents bequeath to their children not riches, but the spirit of reverence. And that is why at Redeemer's Basic School and Redeemer's International Secondary School Jimeta-Yola, we believe that real learning gets to the heart of what it means to be human. Through learning we re-create ourselves. Through learning we become able to do something we never were able to do. Through learning we reperceive the world and our relationship to it. Through learning we extend our capacity to create, to be part of the generative process of life. There is within each of us a deep hunger for this type of learning.
