*4 WAYS TO MAINTAIN PEACE IN A STORM OF LIFE

A storm doesn’t mean God has abandoned you. It means your peace has to come from something deeper than your circumstances. *John 16:33* – “In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world..

*1. Anchor Your Mind On God’s Word, Not The Waves*
*Isaiah 26:3* – “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”
Storms feed on fear and speculation. Peace comes when you fix your thoughts on what God has said, not what the situation is saying.
*Action*: Pick one promise scripture and repeat it out loud when anxiety rises. Truth calms the mind faster than feelings.

*2. Pray Instead Of Panic*
*Philippians 4:6-7* – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds.”
Prayer shifts you from carrying the burden to handing it to God. Thanksgiving reminds you He’s been faithful before.
*Action*: When the storm hits, pause for 60 seconds. Breathe. Thank God for 3 things before you ask for anything.

*3. Remember Who Is In The Boat With You*
*Mark 4:39-40* – Jesus was in the boat with the disciples when the storm came. He didn’t stop the storm immediately, but His presence meant they wouldn’t sink.
You’re not facing this alone. *Psalm 23:4* – “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.”
*Action*: Talk to God like He’s right there with you. Because He is.

*4. *Choose To Trust God’s Process Over Your Timeline"
*Romans 8:28* – “In all things God works for the good of those who love him.”
Peace isn’t the absence of trouble. It’s the assurance that God is still working, even when you can’t see it.
*Action*: Surrender the “when” and “how”. Say: “God, I don’t understand this, but I trust You.” That surrender releases peace.

Giving reflects your heart toward God. It’s not paying a bill to get blessing. It’s responding to His goodness. When you give, you’re saying: “God, You own everything, and I trust You.”

*Mark 12:41-44* – The widow’s two mites were worth more than large gifts because she gave out of her lack.
God looks at proportion and intent. *1 Samuel 16:7* – “Man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” Giving from faith pleases Him more than giving from excess.

# # # *3. Giving Unlocks Spiritual Principles Of Sowing And Reaping*
*Luke 6:38* – “Give, and it shall be given unto you… good measure, pressed down, and shaken together.”
*2 Corinthians 9:6* – “He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly.”
This isn’t a formula for getting rich. It’s God’s design: what you sow, you will harvest. Giving opens the door for God to supply, protect, and multiply.

# # # *4. Giving Is Meant To Be A Blessing To Others And A Testimony Of God’s Love*
*Acts 20:35* – “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
*2 Corinthians 9:11-12* – Your giving produces thanksgiving to God and meets needs.
Giving is how God’s provision flows through His people. It demonstrates His character to a watching world.
