Street To School Initiative
Street to School supports the education programs of out-of-school children & primary school drop-outs through her annual sponsorship scheme & free schools
Street to School Initiative (formerly Resource Sharing Network) is a non-profit governmental and, youth-centric organization established in 2008 to provide education for the disadvantaged young people on the streets, rural communities, slums etc. We believe that education is a major leverage that enables us to aspire high in life and to successfully pursue our dreams. Our programmes include: Youth
We are deeply thankful for every support received for the children we serve through the years. It has been a journey of grace, hope, and great impact.
Thank you, sponsors. You are changing lives, one child at a time.
Thank you.
From all of us.
Today, we pause to say thank you, because impact like this does not happen by chance.
Because of one sponsor’s generosity, a child stayed in school.
- A classroom remained active.
- A future stayed on course.
Behind every school fee paid, every book provided, every meal served, there is a decision someone made to care. And today, we are deeply grateful for that decision.
Your support goes beyond funding. It restores dignity, fuels dreams, and reminds these children that they are seen, valued, and capable.
This is more than sponsorship.
This is transformation.
Thank you for believing that every child can learn if given a chance.

In 2024, Street to School Initiative launched a free intervention school in Ilorin, Kwara State, to provide access to education for out-of-school children in underserved communities. Today, over 100 children are enrolled—many from nomadic, peasant, and low-income families.
Through the generosity of friends and supporters, we established a temporary learning shed, provided books and materials, and ensured consistent payment of teachers’ salaries alongside other operational costs.
Now, we have taken a bold step forward, a piece of land has been acquired for these learners. The photo captures a powerful moment: children standing on what will become their future school.
This is a BIG win.
We are now raising funds to begin construction and build a safe, permanent learning space. Every support brings us closer to giving these children the future they deserve.

We gathered around to talk about Artemis II- the bold return of humans journeying toward the Moon.
Four incredible astronauts—Jeremy Hansen, Christina Koch, Victor Glover, and Reid Wiseman—carrying not just equipment, but the dreams of a generation.
And then… the questions began.
“Did they see Jesus?!”
(We really need Victor Glover here for this one 😁🥰)
Another voice followed, curious and sincere:
“Who is videoing everything?”
And just like that, the room shifted—from listening… to wondering.
We leaned into that curiosity.
We began to talk about drones—what they are, how they work, and how technology helps us see what the human eye cannot always capture. Thankfully, we had one right there in school. Not just to explain… but to show.
In that moment, learning became alive.
Questions met demonstration.
Curiosity met clarity.
And maybe, just maybe, that simple conversation answered, in part, the question of “who is videoing” missions like Artemis II.
Because beyond the Moon missions and the machines, one truth remains:
Children are curious beings.
And if we listen closely enough… their questions will always lead us to teach better, show deeper, and imagine bigger.

We didn’t just walk… we walked for a reason 💛
Today, Street to School Initiative joined the Out on a Limb 2026 movement by The IREDE Foundation — themed “No Limits, Just Motion.”
We walked to amplify a mission that matters: providing prosthetic limbs and reminding the world that disability should never limit anyone’s future.
Every step was a voice.
Every stride carried hope.
Every mile pushed a message: inclusion, access, and opportunity for all.
Because everyone deserves not just to dream, but to move, to live, and to thrive.
This is bigger than a walk. This is impact.
Thank you The IREDE Foundation for all you do ❤️

Sponsored Child Highlight
Last slide: Stella in Primary 3
First slide: Stella in SS3
And somewhere between these two frames… is a story of growth that words can hardly hold.
The journey, the stretching, the becoming… it is deeply inspiring.
At Street to School Initiative, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to rewrite their story through education sponsorship. Stella is one of those stories… unfolding with hope, courage, and possibility.
We are grateful for the gift of consistency and the power of showing up.
Special thanks to the The Les Ojugbana Foundation for believing in her journey and making this transformation possible.
Special thanks to every child sponsor.
Assessments are over… and oh, what a feeling! 🎉✨
The children are lighter, happier, and finally free from the pressure of tests. You can see it in their laughter, in the way they run, play, and just be children again.
And honestly… so are we. 😊
Moments like this remind us that learning is not just about assessments, but about joy, growth, and the beautiful journey in between.
Now, we breathe, we smile, and we celebrate this little win together.
