Empowering the next generation of digital innovators through technology, innovation, and digital skills.
SIWES is more than a requirement. It’s an opportunity to discover what you can actually do.
For Joe Covenant Okon, her time at CodeCircle has meant moving from learning concepts to building with them, working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and practical web development.
In this student story, she shares what she expected before starting his SIWES, what she has learned so far, and why she would recommend a hands-on learning experience to other students.
Because the real goal isn’t just to complete SIWES. It’s to leave with skills you can use.

Three weeks in, and the learning is already turning into doing.
Our SIWES and IT training at CodeCircle Tech Hub has been a hands-on experience, with students moving beyond theory to practise, experiment, build and solve problems.
From Web Development, IoT, AI Prompt Engineering to Cybersecurity, students from the Nigerian Army College of Education, Kwara State University and Kwara State Polytechnic are gaining practical exposure designed to help them build skills they can take beyond the classroom.

“LATCIRCLE was built to solve a real problem: making property discovery and connection simpler, smarter, and more accessible.
We didn't just want to build an app; we wanted to build a solution people can actually rely on.
And this is only the beginning.”
— WAHEED BASHIR, Lead Developer, LATCIRCLE
