Arise with Ruth

Lord, at cana of Galilee
there you were,
you covered the groom and bride;
they were not put to shame.

The oil kept flowing
as she walked in obedience,
her debt was paid;
her children were freed.

In my own cana,
I invite you oh Lord,
shield me,
don't let me be put to shame.

Work upon my heart
that I may work in obedience
that my debt may be paid
and my children free

Today is a great day

FAVOUR

My shield from arrows of shame;
my face saver,
' Save her!' She cried.
Precious time saver granting me speed.

The true life saver that keeps me from drowning in the pool of life.
Weaver of greatness in me.
Through her my life emits sweet flavour.

May I not fall into disfavour
Sweetness continues to flow from me
As favour rests in my bossom.
