Complexity requires control.
Day 4 of the replication challenge was one of the most demanding so far. This design involved over 15 speaker images, heavy write-ups, subtle manipulation, and careful layout decisions to ensure the design didn’t feel jam-packed.
Managing clarity, hierarchy, and balance in a complex layout like this highlights the importance of structure and intentional design decisions.

Growth is faster when knowledge is shared.
Day 3 of the replication challenge came with another complex flyer, but the process remained smooth thanks to a solid workflow and creatives in the community who generously shared helpful resources.
With the right tools and attention to detail, even layered designs can be executed efficiently and accurately.

Skill shows when complexity feels simple.
Day 2 of the design replication challenge came with more complexity, multiple images, layered elements, and fonts that took extra effort to source. Still, the entire design was replicated from scratch in under 30 minutes.
While enhancing the visuals, I paid close attention to the speakers’ portraits, noticing the original had intentionally desaturated tones.
Preserving that balance without overdoing vibrance was key to maintaining the design’s original feel.
Precision and restraint are just as important as creativity in professional design.
My project is on the second slide.

Before you create, you must understand.
Today’s challenge was all about replication at a 95% similarity level.
By carefully observing the structure, layout, and exact canvas proportions, I was able to recreate the design with minimal difference from the original.
Strong visuals don’t happen by chance, they’re built through precision, structure, and attention to detail.

As a Visual Identity Designer.
I believe design should do more than look good, it should tell a story and connect with people.
This carousel is a blend of travel, culture, and student life, carefully designed to highlight the Top 5 Student-Friendly Cities in Europe.
Every slide balances clarity, vibrant visuals, and space for key information because great design makes content not only seen, but understood. 🌍✨
Now, I’d love to hear from you:

Task: CDC 6.0, Week 1, Day 2 – Design Replication
Just because your own strength is not equal to the task, do not assume that it is beyond the powers of man; but if anything is within the powers and province of man, believe that it is within your own compass also.
Today's design replication was a bit tricky mainly because of the Psd font we had to get, but after a little bit of research I was able to get the fonts and adequate resources.
Steps I took to finish the design projects
1. Got the background on Pinterest, and started editing it to look exactly like the one we were to replicate.
2. Created the font on Picsart (this wasn't an easy task)
3. Then I included the required info
4. Edited it on both Snapseed and Adobe Lightroom
That's all for Week 1 Day 2 design replication.
Looking forward to the remaining projects.
