SERMON 10: Faith that Sows in Famine and Reaps in Abundance

Scripture: Genesis 26:12 – “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundredfold.”

Nigeria’s economy? Dollar rates? Everything looks dry. Yet Isaac sowed in famine and reaped. Faith doesn’t wait for perfect conditions. Some of us are waiting for CBN to stabilize before we obey God 😆.

1. Faith sows even in hard times — Scarcity is the best time for seed to speak.

2. God’s economy is not man’s economy — Heaven’s inflation rate = 0%.

3. Harvest follows faith actions — Isaac didn’t just pray; he sowed.

Example:
You’re broke but still help someone else with your skill or small money. Next, doors open for you unexpectedly.

Sing
🎶 “The Lord will bless the work of my hands, I’ll sow and reap in joy…”

Call to Action:
Identify one seed (time, service, money, kindness) you can sow this week despite the “famine” around you.

SERMON 9: Faith that Attracts Favor for Provision

Scripture: Exodus 3:21 – “And I will give this people favour… so that when you go, you will not go empty-handed.”

You don’t always need cash; sometimes you need favor. Favor is when people compete to bless you. In Nigeria we call it “sharp sharp connect.” 😄

1. Favor is currency in the Kingdom — God used favor to make the Israelites collect wealth overnight.

2. Faith positions you for favor — Believe for doors you didn’t knock on.

3. Favor brings provision faster than labor — One day of favor can equal 10 years of labor.

Example:
You go to sing at a program for free; someone in the crowd calls you for a big-paying gig. That’s favor.

Song line to sing while preaching:
🎶 “I’m walking in power, I’m walking in miracles, I live a life of favor…”

Call to Action:
Pray for and expect unusual favor this week.

SERMON 8: Faith that Breaks the Scarcity Mindset

Scripture: Psalm 23:1 – “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.”

Some people are so used to “managing” they even manage their joy 😅. God’s plan isn’t for you to live with a “scarcity mentality” but an “overflow mentality.”

1. Scarcity mindset limits God — If you think small, you’ll always plan small.

2. God is your Shepherd, not your neighbor — Your source is not salary; your source is the Shepherd.

3. Provision flows from identity — If He is Shepherd, you’re His sheep; sheep don’t supply themselves.

Example:
You keep saying, “I can never afford that.” Then one day, someone gifts you exactly what you said you couldn’t afford. That’s God breaking your mindset.

🎶 “I shall not want, because He’s my Shepherd…”

Call to Action:
Stop confessing scarcity. Begin to confess Psalm 23:1 daily.

SERMON 7: Faith that Partners with God for Overflow

Scripture: Luke 5:1–7 (The Great Catch of Fish)

Peter had fished all night—zero catch. Jesus said “Launch into the deep.” In today’s language: “Shift your hustle location.” 😅 When you let Jesus into your boat, your “business” changes level.

1. Invite Jesus into your boat — Don’t just pray for business, invite Him into it.

2. Cast the net again — Don’t let past failure stop you from trying again.

3. Overflow follows divine instruction — Obedience brought so much fish, nets began to break.

Example:
You’ve been teaching music but no clients. You start praying over your studio, inviting Jesus. Suddenly, students increase.

Sing
🎶 “Lord, I give You my boat, I give You my net, take over…”

Call to Action:
Surrender your plans to God today and prepare for overflow.

SERMON 6: Faith that Perseveres Until the Rain Falls

Scripture: 1 Kings 18:41–46 (Elijah and the Rain)

Faith is like Nigerian fuel queues. 😆 You wait and wait, but when it comes, it floods. Elijah prayed seven times, not once. Many of us pray once and post “God has failed me” on WhatsApp.

1. Keep praying until you see the cloud — Don’t stop because nothing moved the first time.

2. Don’t despise small signs — A little cloud can be a big rain.

3. Perseverance brings breakthrough — The seventh time brought the answer.

Example
You’ve been sowing seeds for months, nothing yet. Then suddenly one connection opens doors to 5 jobs at once.

Sing
🎶 “I hear the sound, of abundance of rain…”

Call to Action:
Stay consistent this week—pray again, believe again.

SERMON 5: Faith that Gives Thanks Before the Supply

Scripture: John 6:5–13 (Feeding of the 5,000)

Jesus didn’t complain about the small bread. He didn’t say “Where is Peter’s sense of planning?” He just gave thanks. Some of us look at our bank app and hiss; instead say “Lord, thank You for this ₦2,000.” 😄

1. Gratitude multiplies what you have — Thankfulness is a magnet for miracles.

2. Jesus gave thanks before it multiplied — Don’t wait for the big miracle before your praise.

3. Thank God now for tomorrow’s supply — Praise is a prophecy.

Example:
You’re planning a wedding with small budget but you keep thanking God. Gifts and money start flowing.

Sing this.
🎶 “Count your blessings, name them one by one…”

Call to Action:
Write a gratitude list for what you’re believing God for.
Receive it in Jesus name.

SERMON 4: Faith that Speaks Provision

Scripture: 2 Kings 4:1–7 (The Widow’s Oil)

Your mouth is a tap. Some of us have turned off our tap by complaining. This widow borrowed vessels but if she kept quiet, no oil would flow. Faith talks big even when wallet small. 😅

1. Words shape your world — Say “there is supply” not “I am finished.”

2. Faith speaks abundance even in lack — Fill your empty jars with declarations.

3. God fills empty vessels — Come with empty hands, empty hearts, empty bank account but full of faith.

Example:
You’re broke but you tell your choir “Next month we’re buying that new mixer.” People laugh, but next month someone donates it.

🎶 “I will speak life, I will speak increase, I will speak favour…”

Call to Action:
Start declaring what you want to see this week.
