HOW TO MAKE SHORTBREAD COOKIES AT HOME
INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour 150g
Rice flour or corn flour 80g ( for a grainy texture)
Butter 150g
Icing sugar 50g
PROCURES
*1, Add all purpose flour, rice flour or corn flour and icing sugar into a bowl . Then add the butter and mix with your fingers making sure everything get incorporated.
*2, Mold into a ball and place on a flat surface . Then roll with a rolling pin ( if you don't have a rolling pin , you can use a clean breakable bottle to roll it) roll out the dough and score into 18-21 squares .
*3,Insert a fork through the cut dough. This is done to give the shortbread look.
*4, Separate the shortbread on the baking tray or pan and place in the oven .Bake until is firm but not too browsed. Bake at 190/ 375 f .Then remove from the oven and level to cool on tray. The more it cool,the firmer it becomes.
