βI learnt that menstruation is not a shame.β
πβ¨
Hearing these words from the girls today reminded us why this work matters so deeply.
For too long, stigma has silenced conversations around menstrual health leaving many girls confused, embarrassed, and isolated during a completely natural part of their lives.
But today, we changed that.
In this session, the girls learnt:
πΈ That menstruation is normal and nothing to hide
πΈ How to care for their bodies with confidence
πΈ That their experiences are valid and shared
πΈ That they deserve dignity, support, and safe spaces
πΈ That periods are not shameful
Seeing their smiles, hearing their voices, and watching them unlearn years of shame was powerful.
One session at a time, we are raising a generation of girls who know their worth.

π£π£οΈEmpowering adolescents and young people to speak up for themselves and their rights is essential. β¨
πWhen young people are given the space, tools, and confidence to use their voices, something powerful happens: they begin to shape the world around them.
Their lived experiences, ideas, and daily realities make them uniquely positioned to identify what works, what doesnβt, and what truly matters.
And when we invite them into the conversation not as beneficiaries but as partners they co-create solutions that genuinely meet their needs. π
This is how we build inclusive systems.
This is how we design impactful programs.
This is how we ensure no young person is left behind.
Letβs keep amplifying youth voices, strengthening youth leadership, and creating safe spaces where adolescents can rise, lead, and redefine their own futures. πβ¨
