In a recent interview with Chude, Nigeria's Nollywood legend, Chinedu Ikedieze(Aki) shares his journey growing up and his relationship with fellow legend, Osita Iheme(Pawpaw).

But what caught my attention the most was his experience growing up as a child with a stunted growth.

He said he knew about his condition from the age of six when he saw his younger brother already taller than him.

He suffered all through childhood in the hands of bullies, young and old and he at different times contemplated taking his life.

But thanks to his mum, who according to him, kept encouraging him to focus on his studies as that is the only way someone of his size could get something out of life.

Well, we all know how that advice turned out. Thank you, mama.😄

I enjoyed every bit of that interview and listening to him share his story excitedly was bliss.

Please, refrain from commenting on people's appearance as they have little or nothing to do about it. If you don't have good things to say about a person's height, weight, face, just move on.

And like I have always said and I'll say it again. If you come from an average/poor home, please take your education serious.

Education is still the fastest way out of poverty.
