Today, we conclude Mission Weekend 2026 with one charge: Bearing Witness of the Light.

We have seen the Light, and now we testify of Him; Christ crucified, Christ risen, Christ saving men.

Today, we take the gospel to the halls.

Our message is simple, but powerful: Christ Crucified. Not the wisdom of words, not human philosophy, not enticing speech; but the saving truth of Jesus Christ, who died, was buried, and rose again for the salvation of men.

This is the charge of Jesus Christ to His Church. Mission Weekend is therefore a call to devote ourselves again to the doing of this great assignment: going, preaching, teaching, and bearing witness to Christ wherever men are found.

And as we go, our confidence is not in eloquence, strategy, or the wisdom of words, but in the power of the gospel itself; Christ crucified, the wisdom and power of God unto salvation.
