SCHOOLS RESUMPTION

Public and private schools in the state will resume to schools on Monday, 8th, September 2025 for the commencement of the First term 2025/2026 academic session .

The commissioner Ministry of Higher EducationScience, and Technology Professor Isa Yusuf Chamo disclosed this to our correspondant.

Professor Isa Chamo said that boarding students will resume schools on Sunday, 7th September l, while day students will be in their respective schools on Monday, 8th September for the immediate commencement of normal lessons.

The Commissioner therefore appealed to parents/guardians to send their wards back to school on the resumption day as the ministry has provided all the necessary teaching aids that will enhance effective teaching and learning in schools.

He called on the teachers to be in their schools and ensure immediate commencement of lessons as the ministry have posted its staff to monitor the resumption and commencement of lessons in schools across the state.
