Imagine waking up every day without clean water to drink. For millions of people in rural Nigeria, this is reality. Women and children walk long distances under the hot sun just to fetch unsafe water from contaminated sources. This daily struggle exposes families to deadly waterborne diseases and keeps children away from school.
Through the “Give Water Save Life” campaign, Humanity and Community Development Foundation (HUCOMDEF) is working to change this reality by: ✅ Constructing boreholes and hand pumps ✅ Replacing unsafe open wells ✅ Improving access to clean and safe water ✅ Reducing waterborne diseases ✅ Restoring dignity and hope in vulnerable communities.
Every donation, no matter how small, can help save lives.

Communities in Zamfara State, Nigeria face rising violent extremism driven by poverty, insecurity, and limited awareness. Youth are vulnerable to recruitment due to misinformation and lack of opportunities. Weak community structures and poor collaboration with security agencies reduce early detection and response.
Our BCRAVE project aimed to provide solution to the problems by empowering local actors with knowledge and skills to prevent radicalization. This short video, highlighted the project's workshop activity where youth, community actors, civil society organizations, security agencies and government officials were equipped with skills to counter extremist narratives, promote media literacy, and identify early extremist warning signs.
Our organization is open for partnership to sustain this initiative.

Today, Humanity and Community Development Foundation (HUCOMDEF) joins the global community in commemorating the International Day of Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism. This day highlights the urgent need to address violent extremism not only as a security concern, but as a social challenge that requires awareness, understanding, and collective responsibility.
Violent extremism often emerges where there is hopelessness, exclusion, misinformation, and lack of opportunity. Preventing it therefore demands proactive solutions rooted in education, dialogue, tolerance, inclusion, and youth empowerment. Stronger, more resilient communities are built when voices are heard, differences are respected, and peace is intentionally nurtured.
HUCOMDEF remains committed to promoting social cohesion, empowering young people, and fostering constructive dialogue for safer and more peaceful communities. Together, let us speak against hate, promote understanding, and build bridges of unity.
