This constant increase in the price of foodstuffs is becoming overwhelming. We buy in bulk as a strategy to help us save cost but even the bulk buying is not bulking very well. See me talking to our suppliers to get weekly price updates as we plan for February shopping for our monthly foodstuff subscribers and prices have gone up again. 😭 With the way things are going, we are now considering quarterly subscriptions so we buy foodstuffs for up to 3 months as against our current monthly plan.

My concern now is how the roadside seller who depends on daily income from sales of sachet water or gala gets to survive. The woman who knows that if she doesn't sell up to an amount, she and her children would not eat that night let alone be able to buy foodstuff in bulk.

This is a worrisome situation!
