This is the most terrifying installation I’ve seen this year, and it’s obviously not done by a trained professional.

Why is that?
1. There’s absolutely no protective devices to protect the investment.
2. Too rough, trunking pipe to tidy this cabling up will not cost 5k.
3. Why is the short battery cable stretched like that. You don’t have to use the cable that came with the unit if you have any rationale behind the layout of the components.
If this is like this, I can’t expect him to use the right cable size, a proper load audit before system design, and a properly installed solar array. I hope this is not the next fire hazard waiting to happen.
