Feedback on PUBLIC SPEAKING SESSION

On Saturday 16th of Oct 2021, the leaders of Graduate Advancement training (GAP), cohort 2 had a wonderful session on Public Speaking with Mrs Ikmat Salawu Yusuff.

Ikmat Salawu Yusuff is a Graduate of English, B.A Unilorin, M.A (Unilag) and PhD in view (Unilag). She is also a lecturer at the University of Lagos, school of foundation studies and also a professional volunteer.

She took the leaders on the meaning of Public speaking, types of Public speaking, Methods of delivery Elements of Public speaking and tips before presentation. The session was an interactive one and leaders were given exercise at the end of the session.

Feedback on BUILDING CONSISTENCY AND TIME MANAGEMENT

Yesterday, the leaders of Graduate Advancement Training(GAP), cohort 3 had an amazing session with Mr Naheem Uthman. Naheem Uthman is a graduate of mathematics from the university of Ilorin. He is the founder of SMB Global; an online platform that teaches financial liberation through smartphone. He is popularly known as Minister of smartphone monetization.

Mr Naheem took the class through benefit of time management, steps to proper time management, building consistency.

At the end of the class, he shared with the leaders Applications to use for proper time management and great books to read on management.

Feedback on EFFECTIVE GUIDE TO WRITING A CV AND ETIQUETTES OF EMAIL MESSAGING

On Saturday 11th of September 2021, the leaders of Graduate Advancement Programme (GAP), Cohort 3 had an amazing time with Mr Emmanuel Adetoyan. Emmanuel Adetoyan is a law graduate from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University. He is also a CV writer Expert. Mr Emmanuel took the leaders through writing a compelling CV, etiquettes of email messaging and LinkedIn profile optimatization.

The class ended with practical session and question and answer session.

Feedback on Leadership and Personal Development

Yesterday, 8th September, 2021, the leaders of Graduate Advancement Programme (GAP), Cohort 3 spent time with Ambassador Sodiq Iyanda, the founder of Springforth Leadership School, as they were taken through the nitty-gritty of Leadership and Personal Development.

It was highlighted that personal development is a lifelong process and an investment on honing one's skills, i.e., either soft, technical or hard skills.

Leaders were taken through brainstorming session on the interconnectedness of leadership development and personal development as an instructive tool to set emerging leaders like them on the journey of being self-led before leading others.

The class ended with class evaluation and question and answer session.

Yesterday 5th of September 2021, Springforth Leadership School onboarded participants to the Graduate Advancement Programme Cohort 3. The participants did a Self- Introduction and Mr Luqman Alawode onboarded them to the Orientation Course.

Mr Luqman Alawode, the Orientation Course facilitator congratulated them on taking a bold step to make themselves better and also advise them to make use of the opportunity bestowed on them.

He also reiterated the fact that they are very lucky to be here because this is a kind of opportunity that some people look forward to see but are not privileged.

He also advised them to see beyond the certificate and use the platform to learn, unlearn relearn, network and connect.

21st century leadership is a perspective of leadership intended to respond to the unique challenges and opportunities of today's world.
