Accelerating Social Impact -Accel- Initiative

ACCEL Initiative recently participated in a 3- day strategic engagement organized by the Coalition for the Promotion of Gender Justice.

The event focused on developing a comprehensive GBV response model while fostering strong partnerships among members, support groups, and key stakeholders to enhance the collective fight against gender-based violence.

Earlier today, Accelerating Social Impact -Accel- Initiative participated in the reactivation of the State Steering Committee for the Elimination of Child Labor in cocoa-producing zones. The event was hosted by Save the Children International in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, Cross River State. This important meeting brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from various ministries, civil society organizations (CSOs), and development partners, to discuss and strategize on effective measures to eradicate child labor in cocoa farming communities.

As a key player in advocating for the rights and welfare of children, women, and marginalized groups, ACCEL Initiative reaffirmed its commitment to promoting child protection and ensuring access to education and a safe, healthy environment for children in cocoa-producing areas and beyond.
