GREAT CALLINGS ATTRACTS WARFARE πŸ”₯

I was reading 2 Samuel 5:17, and something struck me. πŸ€”

David had just been anointed king over Israel.
And immediately, when the Philistines heard about it, they came looking for him.

They didn't come when David was in the bush tending sheep.

But when he stepped into a new dimension of his calling, resistance arose.

This made me understand something...

There are enemies of great calling. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

There are battles that are not just fighting where you are.
They are fighting where you are going.

Sometimes, every time you try to rise, something comes up.

You make progress for a while, then suddenly, you're back to where you started.

You push forward, then something pulls you back.

You keep reaching a particular point in life, and somehow, you return to zero.

Child of God, don't be ignorant. πŸ™

Some battles are connected to what you carry.

The enemy may be fighting what you haven't even fully become yet.

But hear me...

If there are powers after your destiny, there is also a God who can arrest them.

Make this prayer today...

O GOD, ARREST EVERY POWER AFTER MY DESTINY AND GREAT CALLING! πŸ”₯

I will not keep going in circles.
I will not keep returning to zero.
What God has ordained for me will not be aborted by resistance! πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

FINDING GOD = FINDING ME

There is a version of you that you will never discover outside of God.

I mean it.πŸ‘Œ

You can go to school.
Build a career.
Discover your gifts.
Travel the world.
Try different things.
And still not know who you really are.

Because the real you is hidden in the One who created you. πŸ”₯

You cannot fully discover a product when you ignore its manufacturer. In the same way, you cannot truly understand yourself while living far from the mind of the One who formed you.

You need to find God to find you.

And this is why seeking God is not something we do when we are confused and stop when life becomes clear.

No.πŸ™…

Seeking Him is a lifestyle.

"As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God."

There has to be a hunger.
A longing.
Something in your heart that keeps saying,
"God, I need to know You more."
Because the deeper you go into God, the more you begin to understand the things He placed inside you.

Your purpose.
Your identity.
Your assignment.
Even the parts of you that have been buried under fear, pain, people's opinions and life's experiences.

Some things about you will not be revealed by sitting down and trying to figure yourself out.
They are revealed in fellowship. πŸ”₯

This is why you must keep coming.
Keep praying.
Keep studying.
Keep seeking.
Keep returning to His presence.
Not because you are trying to impress God.
But because you are looking for the One in whom your life makes sense.

And it starts from the heart.
Before your body kneels in prayer, your heart must first cry for Him.

Before you open your Bible, there must be a desire to know Him.

Because when your heart begins to seek God genuinely, your actions will eventually follow.

Prayer will no longer feel like a religious activity.
Fellowship will become a necessity.

The Word will become food.
You will find yourself wanting more of Him.

And somewhere in that pursuit, something beautiful begins to happen.

You start finding yourself.
Not the version people told you to become.
Not the version pain created.
Not the version society applauds.
But the version God had in mind when He created you.

So if you are struggling with identity, maybe the question is not just...

Who am I?
Maybe you need to ask.
God, who are You?

Because sometimes, the search for yourself ends when the search for God truly begins.

FINDING GOD = FINDING ME.
The you that you are looking for...
is hidden in Him. πŸ”₯

So, I leave you with this....
Keep seeking.
Keep digging.
Keep coming closer.
You may be surprised that in finding Him,
you finally find you. πŸ”₯

HOW I SURVIVE AS A BELIEVER OUTSIDE MY HOUSE

One thing I have learned as a believer is that you cannot just step out into the world empty.

Every morning, we step out of our homes.

We go to school.

We go to work.

We meet different people.

We enter different environments.

We hear different conversations.

And sometimes, when you finally come back home, you feel drained.πŸ˜“πŸ˜ž

Have you ever experienced that?

You left your house feeling spiritually alive, but by the time you came back, it felt like something had left you.

Your spirit feels low.
You don't feel like praying.
You just feel tired not only physically, but spiritually.😞

I've been there before.

I would go to school, and by the time I came back, I would feel so drained. The energy in my spirit man would be down. Kai. 😭😭

Then I began to understand something...

You have to learn how to go out with your own atmosphere. πŸ”₯

You cannot control every atmosphere you enter, but you can decide what you carry with you. πŸ€”

For me, before I leave the house, I try to pray and get myself charged.

But it doesn't end there.

I continue my day with that consciousness.
The Bible says:
"Pray without ceasing." β€” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Prayer is not always about shouting or kneeling down.
Sometimes, you're walking, but your heart is praying.
You're sitting in class, but your heart is still connected to God.
You're going about your activities, but there is still a communication happening within you.

Don't allow your spirit to go offline just because you stepped outside.

Another thing that helps me is what I feed my spirit with.

If I have my earpiece or earbuds, I listen to messages, sermons, teachings, and things that charge my spirit.

Because what you constantly feed your ears with eventually finds its way into your heart.

So instead of allowing every conversation, every sound, and every atmosphere around you to fill you, intentionally feed yourself with the Word of God.
Feed your spirit.
Listen to messages that stir your hunger for God.
Listen to teachings that bring you back to consciousness.

For me, when I'm in school and I have the opportunity, I put on my earbuds and listen.
Not because I am trying to run away from people, but because I have learned that I must be intentional about what I allow into my spirit.

Sometimes, you need to reduce unnecessary conversations.
Sometimes, you need to guard your heart.
Sometimes, you need to remember that not every atmosphere deserves access to you.

You cannot always choose the atmosphere you enter, but you can choose the atmosphere you carry. Aaah πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

So before you step out today, don't just prepare your body.
Prepare your spirit too.
Pray.
Stay conscious of God.
Keep your heart connected.
Feed your spirit with the right things.

Because the world will take from you if you are not intentional about being replenished.

Don't just enter every atmosphere and allow it to change you.
Carry God with you.
Carry the Word with you.
Carry your atmosphere with you.

This is honestly how I have been surviving as a believer, and I just felt like sharing it with someone. ❀️πŸ”₯

Today, I learnt something about humility. πŸ˜‚

So, we had an 8 a.m. class today.

Our lecturer came in, started teaching, and everything was going smoothly. We were having our class normally, and there was no issue at all.

But as usual, some of our colleagues came late.

Now, normally, this particular lecturer sometimes allows people to enter the class even when they are late. In fact, he doesn't really like people standing at the door saying,
"Excuse me, sir."
"Sir, please, can I come in?"
He sees that as another form of distraction.

He would rather you quietly walk into the class and find a seat.
But today's lecture was different....

Some of our colleagues who came late today started trying to come inside.

The lecturer said nobody should enter.
And because there were already quite a number of people outside, they started pleading.

"Sir, please, can I come in?"
"Sir, please..."
Then one of our colleagues said something like,
"Sir, please, can you just allow them to come inside since they are many?"

That was when everything changed. πŸ˜‚

The lecturer got angry and started asking if we were trying to disrupt his class and distract him.
Before we knew what was happening, he walked out of the class.

He said he wasn't going to teach us again.
Everybody just sat there like...
"What just happened?" 😭

Then after a while, information reached us that the lecturer had instructed everybody to personally write a four-page apology letter to him and submit it before 4 p.m.
Four full pages I mean ooo.
Foolscap.
Personally.
Before 4 p.m.

I said, Jesus. πŸ˜πŸ˜‚
Me that already have lectures packed together, barely enough time to breathe, and now i have to sit down and write four full pages of apology. Kai 😭
The struggle. πŸ˜‚

Some people said they weren't going to write it.
Some actually didn't.

But I sat down and wrote mine.
And honestly, while writing that letter, something struck me.

Was I actually the person who caused the problem?

No.

I wasn't the one who asked anybody to come late.
I wasn't the one who was standing outside asking to enter.
I wasn't the person who told the lecturer to allow them in.
So technically, I could have said,
"But what did I do?"
"Why should I apologize?"
"I'm not guilty."
And I would have had a point.
But I still chose to write the letter.
Why?

Humility. πŸ”₯

I realized that sometimes, you don't have to fight so hard to prove that you're right.
Sometimes, you just choose peace.

And please, don't misunderstand me.
I'm not saying you should become a fool or allow people to blame you for everything.

No.

There are times you need to speak up.
There are times you need to defend yourself.
There are times you need to say, "No, I didn't do that."
But there are also times when wisdom tells you,
"Just calm down. Apologize. Let this matter end here."

Because sometimes, saying sorry doesn't mean you're admitting that you are a bad person.

Sometimes, it simply means you value peace more than proving a point.

You can be right and still choose humility.
You can know that you didn't do anything wrong and still decide not to make the situation worse.

You can have a valid explanation and still decide that, "This isn't worth fighting over."
That was my biggest lesson from today's class.

Humility is not weakness. πŸ”₯

And sometimes, the most mature thing you can do is to put your ego aside, say sorry, and move on.

As the Bible says, "By pride comes nothing but strife."
So, the next time you find yourself in a situation where you know you're not completely at fault, pause before you start fighting to prove yourself.

Ask yourself...
Do I really need to prove that I'm right, or is this a moment where humility can bring peace?

Because sometimes, wisdom is knowing when to speak, and humility is knowing when to let it go. ❀️

THERE IS SOMETHING IN YOU πŸ”₯

The need for pushing is so that your flesh does not trap the riches in your spirit.

Now, when I say pushing, I mean praying.

There are things God has put inside you that will not just find expression because they are there.

You have to engage them.

You have to pray.

You have to push.

Because sometimes, the issue is not that you don't have anything inside you.

There is actually something inside you, but it is not coming out.

There are gifts.
There is grace.
There are ideas.
There is wisdom.
There are things God has deposited in your spirit that you may not even know are there yet.
And this is why prayer is important.

Prayer is one of the ways you unlock what has been deposited in you. πŸ”₯

Because the flesh can make you comfortable enough to leave great things inside you untouched.

You will say,
"I'll pray later."
"I'm tired."
"Tomorrow."
And tomorrow becomes another tomorrow.

Meanwhile, there is something inside you that needs to come forth.

You cannot afford to let your flesh become the prison of what God put in your spirit.

This is why sometimes you need to PUSH. πŸ”₯

Not because God has not put anything in you.
But because what He put in you needs to find expression.

So when you pray, don't just pray because you need something from God.

Sometimes, pray because there is something in you that needs to come out.

And this is the prayer I want you to make.....

β€œO energy of God, act upon my destiny. πŸ”₯
Let everything You have deposited in me find expression.
Let my flesh not trap what You have placed in my spirit.”

There is something in you that prayer must bring out. Don’t let comfort bury what God deposited in you.
If you believe there is more in you than what is currently showing, comment: β€œI WILL PUSH!” πŸ”₯

What did you learn today?

What was the topic of today’s message?

Mine was: Becoming Like Christ.
πŸ“– Romans 2:29

And honestly, it got me thinking… God is not just interested in what we do outwardly. He wants to work on who we are inwardly.
So, tell me πŸ‘‡πŸ½

What did you learn in church today?
