"Children do not spell love as L-O-V-E, but as T-I-M-E."
This past Sunday, took time to teach us what it truly means to be a father, reflecting the very example that God has set for us. It was a beautiful reminder that fatherhood is not merely a title, but a calling marked by presence, sacrifice, guidance, and love.
Our City Queens made the celebration extra special with a colorful medal presentation ceremony, while our children, teenagers, and indeed the entire City Church Calabar family expressed their love and appreciation by spending quality time with our fathers.
From the smiles and laughter to the heartfelt moments shared, it was a celebration filled with honor, gratitude, and joy.
Let these images give you a glimpse of what our Father's Day service looked and felt like. 💙

Our weekly capsule.
One capsule a week keeps the culture from growing weak.
When it comes to celebrating and honoring those who mean so much to us, City Church never misses the mark!
Our women and the entire church family came together to celebrate our fathers in a truly special way. Honor was given and warmly received, gratitude was expressed and deeply appreciated, and the smiles, laughter, and aroma of lovingly prepared home-cooked meals filled the atmosphere with joy and affection. It was a beautiful reflection of the love and appreciation we have for the fathers among us.
On this Father's Day, we first give thanks to our Heavenly Father, the ultimate example of love and care. We also celebrate our beloved spiritual leader, Daddy T, the entire Pastoral Team of City Church Calabar, and every man in our church family.
Thank you for your strength, guidance, wisdom, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment. We are blessed to have you as fathers, mentors, leaders, and examples. We honor you, appreciate you, and love you deeply.
Happy Father's Day!

"A father is neither an anchor to hold us back, nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love shows us the way." -Anonymous

Jesus didn't just come to save you from something.
He came to send you into something.
Every man is created with divine purpose. Yet many spend their lives chasing achievements, titles, and milestones without ever discovering the assignment God designed them for.
A mission-driven man knows who he is.
He stays connected to God.
He lives intentionally.
He embraces sacrifice.
He refuses to walk alone.
The question is not whether you have a mission.
The question is whether you are living it.
What is one thing currently competing for your attention and distracting you from God's purpose for your life?
