Key Impacts on Education:
Absenteeism: Students frequently skip school due to lack of sanitary products, inadequate toilets, or pain management.
Reduced Academic Performance: Distraction, embarrassment, and physical discomfort from poor management lead to poor concentration in class.
School Dropout:The stigma and fear of staining can cause girls to withdraw from school activities, potentially resulting in dropping out.
Higher Education Impact: College students with menstrual issues report missing an average of 10 study days per academic year.
Call To Action
1: Invest in Hygiene Infrastructure
2: Beak the barrier and normalize conversation on period
3: Advocate for policies and financial support on menstrual products
