The Bible Is Morality and the Power of God in One.
A rejoinder on Apostle Arome Osayi speech on " Go and look for power: the bible is not moral lesson"
Recent claims that Christians should "go and look for power because the Bible is not a moral lesson" require careful biblical examination.
The Bible is not only a book of moral teachings, but neither is it separated from holy living.
Scripture reveals that God's power and God's righteousness always work together. The same Bible that demonstrates miracles also commands believers to live transformed lives.
Jesus Christ did not merely display power; He taught obedience, humility, love, forgiveness, and holiness. He declared, "If you love Me, keep My commandments" (John 14:15). The apostles performed mighty miracles, yet they consistently emphasized godly character and sound doctrine.
The Apostle Paul wrote that "the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power" (1 Corinthians 4:20). However, that same Paul also taught that believers should pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness (1 Timothy 6:11). Biblical power is never divorced from biblical character.
The Bible itself declares that "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). This shows that Scripture is God's guide for both spiritual power and moral transformation.
Any pursuit of "power" that neglects holiness, truth, and obedience is not the pattern established by Christ. It is in itself Anti Christianity.
True spiritual power flows from a life submitted to God, grounded in His Word, and led by the Holy Spirit.
The Christian faith is not a choice between power and morality. It is the union of truth, holiness, and the power of God. A believer who seeks power without obedience risks deception, while one who embraces God's Word receives both the transforming character of Christ and the power of the Holy Ghost to fulfill His will.

The true Gospel does not tell people to abandon Moral in the Bible in search of power. It points them to Christ, the Living Word, in whom both the wisdom, morality and the power of God are perfectly revealed.

The exercise witnessed the enthusiastic participation of members, demonstrating their commitment, unity, and readiness for the forthcoming spiritual gathering.
The jogging exercise forms part of the awareness aimed at mobilizing the public and creating excitement ahead of the week-long evangelical outreach and international retreat.
