GREENCODE successfully conducted a training and induction session for GBV/ASRH Community Volunteers in Dikwa LGA of Borno state, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver quality, survivor-centered services within their communities.

The training covered Organizational Code of Conduct, Policies, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH), GBV Core Concepts and Guiding Principles, Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH), Quality Service Delivery, and Self-Care.

By strengthening the capacity of community volunteers, we are fostering safer communities, promoting dignity and protection, and ensuring that vulnerable populations have access to quality information and support services.

Together for humanity.

A child's place is in school, not at work.

This World Day Against Child Labour, let's commit to protecting children, promoting education, and ending all forms of child exploitation.

Every child deserves the chance to dream, learn, and thrive.

Yesterday in Dikwa, a joint cholera awareness and chlorination campaign was successfully carried out to help prevent the spread of cholera within vulnerable communities.

The activity, coordinated by the WASH and Health Sub-sectors, brought together humanitarian partners in a collective effort to promote healthy practices, raise awareness on cholera prevention, and strengthen community resilience. GREENCODE actively participated alongside other partners in community sensitization and household chlorination activities.

Through collaborative action and community engagement, we continue to support efforts aimed at protecting lives, improving public health, and preventing disease outbreaks.

The 6-month vocational training for women and girls in Konduga LGA of Borno State is still changing lives.

preventable illnesses. Keep children away from floodwaters and stagnant water, which can spread diseases such as cholera, typhoid, and diarrhea. Ensure children sleep under treated mosquito nets, wear appropriate clothing, wash their hands regularly with soap, and drink safe, clean water.

Always keep food covered, wash fruits, vegetables, and utensils thoroughly before use, and maintain a clean household environment to reduce the risk of contamination and disease. Seek prompt medical care if a child shows signs of illness.

Healthy habits during the rainy season can help keep children safe, healthy, and thriving.
