WEDNESDAY SPIRIT HOT SERVICE | DOMINION CHAPEL INT’L CHURCH, CALABAR

Date: 30th September 2026
Ministering: Rev. A. O. Great
Texts: Matthew 26:10–13; John 12:2
Topic: The Power of Generosity

Wednesday Spirit Hot Service was a powerful reminder that everyone is giving themselves to something, and as believers, our lives and resources ultimately belong to God.

We are not doing God a favour by giving. Everything we have comes from Him, including our lives. The question is not simply whether we give, but how we give and the heart behind our giving.

The message highlighted that generosity can build a memorial. Our acts of love, service and giving can speak beyond the present moment.

“Be a refreshment in the body of Christ.”

THE “HOW TO” OF GENEROSITY

1. Sow Bountifully — 2 Corinthians 9:6
Because size matters. What we sow determines what we reap.

2. Sow Believing — Hebrews 11:4
Because faith matters. Giving should be rooted in trust and confidence in God.

3. Sow Sacrificially — 1 Chronicles 21:3
Because percentage matters. True generosity may require sacrifice. The quality of your giving is reflected in what remains after you give.

4. Sow Consistently — Philippians 4:15–19
Because consistency matters. Generosity should become a lifestyle, not an occasional act.

5. Sow Purposefully
Because willingness matters. God looks beyond what is given to the heart and willingness behind the giving.

May we become people whose generosity brings refreshment to the body of Christ and whose lives continually reflect the heart of God.
