The LORD hates dishonest scales,
but he is pleased with honest
weights (Prov. 11:1).

Cheating has to do with integrity. A great way to define integrity is to think of it as "what you do when no one's looking."

What do you do when no one is looking? The Lord says that He hates cheating (dis-honest scales). That covers the answers you saw and used from the test next to you, all the homework you copied from your friend before school, the money you secretly "bor-
rowed" from your mom's purse, and the gum
you accidentally forgot to pay for but kept anyway.

Cheating only brings some small momentary rewards. In the long run, it all catches up to you.

God sees the whole thing. Even worse, He sees inside your heart and knows all about your
selfish motives. The next time you are tempted to look and think, "It would be only one tỉme" or "It might even help my grade", listen to the
siren that goes off in your head. It's the Holy Spirit saying, "Don't!" You may forfeit some correct answers, but the God who sees everything will not overlook your integrity.

His rewards are more valuable than a test
grade, and they last for eternity.

HE PROMISES YOU FREEDOM

The Lord has put his Spirit in me, because he appointed me to tell the Good News to
the poor. He has sent me to tell the captives they are free and to tell the blind that
they can see again. God sent me to free those who have been treated unfairly (Luke
4:18).

This is such an exciting verse! Did you know that you have been chosen to tell the Good News to the poor? The Lord has sent you to announce freedom. But not only have you been sent to announce freedom; you can have freedom as well!

There is freedom in Jesus--freedom for everyone who struggles or suffers. What kind of needs do you have? What kind of needs do your friends have?

You've been chosen by God, and you've also been equipped with the power of God to get free, stay free, and bring freedom to anyone and everyone who needs it!

Now that's power-power over drugs, alcohol, ci******es, lust, s*x, bitterness, ma********on and all forms of addiction.

Jesus died a horrible, shameful death on a
cross so we could be free from sin and spend eternity with him. Don't allow yourself to be in
bo***ge over some stupid sin-a sin that Jesus has already paid the price for.

Choose freedom today, and watch God work a miracle in your life and in the lives of your friends! He is the One who sets you free!

THERE IS FREEDOM ONLY IN JESUS
